Like I know that this post is like, a gag and not a serious question or anything, but the unfortunately serious answer is capitalism. Getting up early is the moral choice because that's when you're supposed to go to the factory and work. Those are Normal People Work Hours and you're supposed to structure your whole life around work. If you're waking and sleeping at hours that are different to that, you must be doing Something Else instead of lining the boss's pocket with the wealth generated by your labour.

Obviously people work at different hours these days, but this is very much a holdover, like many things, from the industrial revolution. The reason school happens early is to prepare you to get up early and go to the factory and work for the rest of your life. Sleeping in too late to go to the factory and work makes you Workshy™ and that's a moral failing of the worst kind. The factory boss doesn't even have to say anything about it; your family, friends and neighbours will judge you for him. It's an ingenious system that maintains and moderates itself.

tl;dr it's because that's when the bosses wanted you in the factories back at the start of the industrial revolution and society has never been the same ever again since.
