I wish everyone would stop using the term “moid”. First, we don’t need to copy incel terms. Secondly, it helps nobody to try and separate misbehaving males from their humanity. The rhetoric of violent men being monsters, insane, exceptions, or in this case, droids, helps nobody. Men are human, violent men are the norm. Nothing special or non-human about them, unfortunately. It does not help to pretend otherwise.

my personal opinion on this is that there’s no reason for women to self-flagellate like this. i don’t think it’s copying incel terminology, i think it’s turning misogynistic language on its head and not passively accepting males being the only ones who have derogatory words towards us — so masculinising words they use against us is a natural linguistic choice

also, moid achieves this in a way mainstream culture has never achieved (i.e. when women use “bitch” or “whore” to try and disempower males, but that just inadvertently calls males women)
