you may be familiar with disney twisted wonderland, the gacha game in which various disney villains are used as direct inspiration for handsome anime boys. well that game was so successful that disney is trying to do it again but this time they're just animeboyifying whatever

here's mickey, goofy, donald, and chip & dale. yeah they turned mickey & friends into anime boys. they're an idol unit or something. they're technically not anime boy versions of the source characters, they have different names. mickey's guy is "Neo Michel". not michael, michel, like he's french. chip & dale are "Ruska Moncrief" and "Ranka Monk", they have different last names, they're not brothers anymore so that they can be yaoibait instead, anyways this post isn't actually about these guys I'm just setting the stage for the actual humanizations I wanted to show you

gamecube was the best designed controller of all time exclusively for the button cluster that gave you easy thumb roll access to all buttons but also gave you the a button as a thumb rest (because it’s the one you press the most) and took into account the frequency with which each button gets pressed in its design rather than doing the stupid diamond design that gives no button priority and rests your thumb in the shitty blank space between buttons

Also, the holes for the thumbsticks are octagon-shaped.

When you push a stick all the way to the edge, it will lock into one of these corners. This helps with stuff like walking in a perfectly straight line or steering all the way to one side, which is great for people who struggle with fine motor skills.

Do you know that in hit game Final Fantasy 15 (2016) one of your party members is this cute lil' nerd and one of his Things is he's a photgrapher, so he's always taking pictures, there a whole system coded in to just randomly take in-engine screen captures of your party as they go about their day-to-day. And whenever you save you get to go over ten of those pictures and choose if you want to save any to your personal in-game album. This is obviously a feature designed for word of mouth fan promotion, because from your in-game album there's a ton of options for sharing your photos or downloading them to personal storage. Which is fun, games are allowed to do that, but. Ya know. Maybe not worth the effort of making a whole system to automatically do that.

Except it's also very baked into the world. There's a couple photos you have to get as you advance through the story, but mostly they're fun so you bookmark one or two as you progress through the game. And as you explore the world sometimes Prompto will ask to stop at scenic locations or tourist traps or whatnot and bam you've got a few more. And if you do this every time you save, you end up with quite a collection.

Anyways, fast forward to the end of the game, when you, the main character, are about to die. You know this. You are marching stubbornly to your own martyrdom, with no hope of survival. And the main character turns. And asks to see Prompto's photo collection.

YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE!!!!! YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE ONE!!!!! You have to pick, from those maybe dozens of silly goofy funny little screencappable moments, which one the main character is going to physically take with him into the last battle and clutch to his chest as he dies!!!!!! That photo you choose will show up in cutscenes!!!!! They make it your save files lockscreen!!!!!!! Is this thing on????

well she called me on the phone(??) and invited me to her house(????? she lives in my house) to see her HORSE and there was indeed a sweet little baby in a bassinet. so she must have had sex with a visitor or neighbor and gotten pregnant and the game couldn't figure out how to put a baby into the butler's quarters so it generated her a house in the suburbs. and a horse. who is named Hoarse, and I didn't name it.

ok well the baby has blue eyes and pointed ears but she is pretty cute i guess. somehow she also inherited custom content skin as well as the elfin features so she was just born eerily smooth

i just had them move into the main household because i wanted to see what the game would do. the butler kept being OUR butler, but then another butler showed up to be the "hired" butler officially, and Butler A started "going to work" (as a butler) every day. so i fired Butler B and had Butler A "quit", but she retained her butler superpowers and doesnt really need to sleep or eat, which is good because now she's caring for an infant while cleaning the house all day

Hoarse came too, but i'm not sure horses are supposed to go inside houses, this may be a bug. the horse keeps taking huge dumps on the floor. i've never seen this happen until i moved this horse into the LA suburbs. Hoarse is very friendly and likes to follow people around and interact with them, including the baby

edit: this isn't Butler obviously, it's one of the two goth girls who own the house together, Hella Goth. she works in tech but doesn't seem to like it very much. the girls have about four roommates and a three story brutalist MIL unit in the back yard that they rent to townies, one of whom is the sims basegame version of Dwayne the Rock Johnson ("Duane Boulder"). he is unemployed and never wears a shirt

inviting the Butler family into the Hella Goth household brought us a dowry of $20,000 so I'm wondering what weird scheme we'll try next. the live-in goth club I modded in didn't really keep my interest and now I just have a huge circular room with a DJ booth in it perched precariously on top of the main house. it looks like a roller rink

I think I need to just buckle down and focus on the vampire strip club
