Because of your cowardice, my world is darker. Because of your choices, my love and trust for others is tainted.
Your passivity is cruel. Your self-loathing is poison. You romanticize and participate in your own misery and you drag everyone through it.
You wrap yourself in armor of chivalry, gentleness, and guilt, believing it absolves you from what your silence costs others. You believe that if you hate yourself enough, if you play nice enough, if you isolate enough, you can outrun the consequences of your choices, and your lack of them. Maybe you can. For a while.
I see through you.
Like a thief, all you know is how to steal everyone's time because all you know is how to waste your own time.
You lied to me. You lie to others. You are a coward.
I believed in the man you said you wanted to become. I will never make that mistake again.
