How To Find The Address Of A Mapped Network Drive Using CMD
So you have a bunch of network drives mapped to your Windows computer but are unsure of the actual network address that these drives are mapped to. Here’s how to find their actual path:
Open up your command line interface (type CMD) and enter the following:
wmic path Win32_LogicalDisk Where DriveType="4" get DeviceID, ProviderName
A different approach would be to simply type NET USE for a different look:
NET USE
If you want to avoid CMD alltogether you can do this in your Windows GUI as well by going to your network drives and switch the view to Details and add a column named Network location

Simple Internet Speed Test
Netflix just launched a simple online tool to check your download speed. I like how simple it is and that it’s without a bunch of banners everywhere. Fast.com uses Netflix’s own servers and is available globally and free to use.

UPDATE: Tried this for a while now and I can´t really recommend it. It constantly tries to get elevated admin rights on Mac OS X and is a pain to use.

Terminal Sunday: Open Multiple Instances Of An Application
So you want to open more than one instance of an application. Mac OS X doesn´t let you do that by right clicking an app so you´re better off using terminal. Here´s an example with multiple instances of Calculator. Assuming you already have Calculator already open, here´s the command to open one more:
open -n -a calculator
Easy enough, eh? Just make sure you get the application name right.
Oh, and be careful if your app uses a database or something like that to store data - the operating system could probably get a little bit confused.
YouTube user “EverythingApplePro” has made a video where he compares every iPad released so far. Some interesting results!
Whenever I buy a new headset, this is always one of the first audio tests I do. Try it out!
