Rewatching Mary Poppins for the first time in years and now I’m pissed we didn’t get Cherry Tree lane in London/UK at Epcot. Even as just building facade and another little alleyway would’ve been enough.

I know they were heavily basing it around the sequel (and its success) but oh my god, others said it before. But the idea of a sort of racing carousel type ride based after the chalk sequence would’ve been amazing…. Racing carousels though rarer do exist… modify that to be a bit more dark ride-ish and it would be amazing. COME ONNN

I have this idea for a video game called Are You Out There? where two players control two different alien civilizations and the goal of the game is to invent spaceflight and then manage to find one another in a ginormous universe. You can try to leave signs for each other to find, or send out probes and radio waves, or colonize many systems so you're a bigger target, but its hard because the universe is really big.

Idk just a thought.

In a nonexistent perfect world, there is an 80s version of The Muppets Wizard of Oz, where the gang finally meet the wizard. And instead of “pay no mind to the man behind the curtain”- Toto knocks over a table in front of A Wizard Of Oz Muppet Head who bellows PAY NO MIND TO THE MAN BENEATH THE CAMERA!!! And it’s revealed that the wizard was Jim the whole time. And he’s like “im so sorry but i’m just an entertainer you guys are gonna have to go kill the witch on your own. you should probably hurry because there’s only 30 minutes left in the runtime.” I just think that would be funny.

I'd like to add, though, that one of the living Muppeteers is literally named Oz. Instead of the wizard being Jim all along, it can have been Frank instead and still be a pretty good joke.

They had Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy for Shrek and they didn't have them play multiple characters? Two actors famous for becoming all the characters in a scene! What a crime! Why not create a movie where they can showcase this?!

Here, I'll even throw out some ideas! Shrek's swamp has been flooded, and this prompts Shrek and Fiona to move their family to a bigger swamp, one that can accommodate their growing family and the many guests they receive. In their house search, they crash at their friends' homes. Maybe they crash at Donkey's, but his house is TOO chaotic -- plus all of Donkey's extended family lives with him too. Why not have Eddie Murphy play Donkey's mom AND dad AND cousins? What if they end up renting a place where they have an evil landlord or HOA leader? Why not have Mike Myers play Shrek's that character? Idk, there's a lot to do with this premise, but the main one is: Myers and Murphy have to voice a few new characters as homage to some of their most famous films and to showcase their talents.

I think it sucks that you have to go to so many different kinds of doctor to take care of yourself. It's the 21st century. I should be able to go to a single office where they scan me with a big xerox machine and tell me what I'm allergic to and why my tummy hurts and if I have any cancer or cavities or if my glasses prescription has changed. And then I should get a sticker.

use darkpatterns to find mobile game with no ads or microtransactions

use ground news to read unbiased news and find blind spots in news stories.

use mediahuman or cobalt to download music, or support your favorite artists directly through bandcamp

make youtube bearable by using mtube, newpipe, or the unhook extension on chrome, firefox, or microsoft edge

use search for a cause or ecosia to support the environment instead of google

use thriftbooks to buy new or used books (they also have manga, textbooks, home goods, CDs, DVDs, and blurays)

use flashpoint to play archived online flash games

find books, movies, games, etc. on the internet archive! for starters, here's a bunch of David Attenborough documentaries and all of the Animorphs books

burn your music onto cds

use pdf24 (available online or as a desktop app) instead of adobe

use unroll.me to clean your email inboxes

use thunderbird, mailfence, countermail, edison mail, tuta, or proton mail instead of gmail

remove bloatware on windows PC, macOS, and iOS X

remove bloatware on samsung X

use pixelfed instead of instagram or meta

use NCH suite for free software like a file converter, image editor, video editors, pdf editor, etc.
