I just saw what they did to my beautiful Fiona from the hit classic Shrek. I knew Shrek aged and she didn't but this sucks.

Why would anyone who loves this character want this ?

She's been down in that swamp getting work done like she wasnt the princess of loving your true self and body. I havent even seen the Shrek movies past 3 so it isn't like it truly matters but its so sad to do this to Fiona of all characters. Fiona!

I realized in the official teaser to Shrek 5 that Felicia was on a motorcycle-styled broomstick, which has been done before with this Shrek clone Happily N'Ever After!

It's rather ironic that this upcoming Shrek installment is borrowing an element from one of its imitators.

New Shrek looks kinda bad, which is in line with the time honored tradition of having Shrek sequels that are kinda bad (except you Shrek 2. You're doing great) but I feel like they got a great opportunity to put just about any Chappell Roan song in the soundtrack

If I see one more person complain about Shrek’s Kids haircut…*internal scream*

Okay look Shrek 5 has its issues I hate the look of it it looks way too clean I don’t like it but this has been a story telling device through out ALLL of cinema. Mowgli from the jungle book for example. You’re telling me this kid who grew up in the jungle god knows when has this 1960s mop top look? Or Jack from Titanic…what pauper from 1912 who did not buy his ticket to the most luxurious ocean liner created in history, he won them in a game of POKER, had the money to get a 1990s curtain bang? Because the people who made the movie want you to relate to those characters it’s small, nobody really notices but that’s one of the ways fashion wise they try to get the audience to relate to the characters.

Also, this is Shrek? Yes Shrek is set in a fairy tale medieval setting but it’s always has modern elements to it heck I think Snow White started singing a Led Zeppelin song…maybe you didn’t read that correctly SNOW WHITE a fairy tale character from a movie set in a medieval world full of other fairy tale characters sung a song by LED ZEPPELIN which was released in 1969 which if I know my history that’s the year the MOON LANDING HAPPENED. For Christ sake the first movie opens with All Star that song came out in 1999 what exactly do you want from them do you want them to use songs from medieval time do you want them to speak all medieval don’t get me wrong I’m not saying you can’t criticize shrek 5 but it’s weird that this is what we’re choosing to criticize from shrek 5 especially since the franchise has always mixed medieval and modern elements.
