the community is not small, but they’re beating around the bush with sparse posts and uncertain release schedules as if us dormant veteran Aphmau fans have unlimited patience

One of the best parts about old aphmau rps was the way that the aphmau brand communicated with its audience throughout the release process - in this new age of rps, it feels more like we’re a small community of critters in Jess’s closet that gets fed every once in a while, and any communication is just to apologize for delays (but still ignoring the biggest delay- the fact that it’s already over halfway into 2026)

I’m so grateful that these series are returning, but the current system of audience engagement, thumbnails, and overall attitude towards reintegrating old fans while keeping the mature content away from the cocomau brand has really been difficult to get used to.
