Intro:
(cause I keep seeing intros on other people's blogs.)
I can be wordy, so if you're not up for/ don't feel like reading the whole thing, I highlighted the important stuff in purple
You can call me Lizard. My pronouns are primarily they/them/ but I like ny/nym/ and he/him as well. My gender is censari, for me that means I always feel aporine in some way (still trying to figure if I have more than one aingender), and the amount of feminity, masculinity, and neutrality I feel each individually fluctuates.
I typically spend my time crocheting (particularly love making pride pieces), and am interested in fiber arts as a whole. I want to learn to sew, embroider and knit. I only know the basics, but the application of them is messy.
I like to read books and webtoons, but I'm picky about the plot speed, characters and their development, etc. They have to grip me to keep me reading. Recently found out I really like Sci-Fi Thrillers. Currently I am reading the Jeremy Logan series, written by Lincoln Child (Big recommend!) A few of my favorite books would include Dune, The Ten Thousand Doors Of January, and The Giver trilogy.
I am also a big personality psych geek. If you're ever confused with how MBTI (mine is INFJ) or enneagram (9) work, or what books are good resources, feel free to ask! I love talking about it.
I enjoy playing video games, particularly sandbox survival and creature collectors. Some examples, Terraria, Core Keeper, Don't Starve, Pokemon (ofc), and Moonstone Island. Recently got into Steins Gate, which is a little different for me, but I am enjoying following along with the story. Its basically an interactive story, for lack of remembering the proper label.
My favorite beverage of choice is, hands down, tea. Second is kombucha (still technically tea) and Dr. Pepper. I know, what an odd combination. Sounds so healthy until I got to the Dr. Pepper lol. I like most kinds of teas, fruity, black, spice, herbals (aside from florals), and green tea on occasion.
Environmental Science is an important topic to me, I am a big believer in reuse before recycle. I also care about human and animal rights. I am vegan, but will likely go back to eggs if/when I get my own chickens. And representation and care, particularly for often misunderstood groups, like LBGT, mentally ill, disabled, immigrants, etc, is very important to me too.
To close, I am very much open to listening and learning about new topics and experiences. I want to understand people on an individual level authenticly.
Ps. Forgot to add, I do struggle with mental health, and likely have adhd.
Pss. I am a pluviophile (love rain).
