beautiful male turtle was digging around in the left over muddy spot on the trail looking for worms

when i first spotted this fungus, i thought maybe it had a mating pair of moths resting on it... turns out it was more fungus! still pretty neat!

this june bug was on his last leg... so pretty. i moved him off to the side where he wouldn't get stepped on...
