Rip Cherry you would've loved blaring Pinky Up by Katseye.
They could never make me hate you, complex female character whose reaction to trauma was not pretty and digestible like how people think it should be.
forbidden fruits spoilers but i don't give you the context
Shout out to Emily Dickinson
The shy poet with a beautiful soul.
“you should write every day” bestie i’m trying to live every day. write?? i barely eat enough fruit.
THE WILDS S02E03 | Day 36/14
hi, hello, yes…so i had this idea gnawing at my brain for the last two days so i finally locked in and made it 😂 the part where her voice cracks sends me every single time
THE WILDS 2.05 | 45/16
Shelby: Bye, Toni! Bye, Martha! Bye, Leah! Bye, Rachel! Bye, Dot! Bye, Fatin! Bye, Nora! Bye, Toni!
Nora: You said ‘bye, Toni’ twice.
Shelby: I like Toni.
Leah: Knock, knock.
Fatin: Who's there?
Leah: When, where?
Fatin: Where, when, who?
Leah: My bed, tomorrow, you and me.
Fatin: Wow, that was smooth.
the wilds will forever be special to me because I’ve never really seen a show portray trichotillomania in such an accurate & honest way (to me personally).
i’ve had trich on & off since i was 7. it got better for a bit, but then shit hit the fan for me when i was 17. sarah’s portrayal is on point with my experience. it’s not a constant thing every single second of the day, but when im stressed, overstimulated, under stimulated, etc., it happens. in a way, it gives you a feeling of something that you CAN control. when my wife notices me doing it, she does exactly what fatin did. like leah, I primarily beeline to my eyebrows the moment i start getting in my head about literally anything.
fatin cracking a lighthearted joke about it in the beginning was great too. once she realized the gravity of the situation though, she locked in to help get leah back on track.
i am diagnosed with OCD, bipolar II, auDHD, among other things. so seeing someone who exhibits characteristics of my diagnoses gives me such a deeper love for this show ❤️
Shelby: When I said, “bring me back something from the beach,” I meant, like, a seashell or something.
Toni, holding a struggling seagull: Well, you should have fucking said that!

unsinkable eight + their fave movies
since i’m literally a walking & talking version of IMDB and letterboxd, i just figured i’d make a ‘top 10 movies’ list for each of them! all the films mentioned are pre-crash to stay on brand 🤙🏼 listed in no particular order either haha
i also have this savant thingy where if you give me your top 3-5 movies, i can tell you pretty much the type of person you are. scared the hell out of my cousin in law with it lol my favorite party trick really. kinda used that to create each list!
