If i may add on to this, a lot of scifi can also have a indigenous reading. Like the standard alien invasion plot is the white people’s fear of being colonized. A lot of the cases, the aliens are given the same motives as white colonists. They invade earth to enslave its population, genocide its population so they can live here instead, or to steal the resources on earth. This is almost a 1 to 1 of what white colonists did to the places they colonized
