Alternatives to using a paci

1. Your thumb

2. If you don’t like putting your whole finger in your mouth, kind of rest your knuckle(s) inside/on your lips

3. Cut a wide straw in half/into a smaller piece and suck on that. It’s best to use a straw the size of ones used for boba / bubble tea

4. If you have a sippy, it should have a rubber piece in the top that’s detachable. Tale that out, and it works as a makeshift paci

5. If you’re out in public but need to do something, try chewing on your sleeve or a straw

6. It’s certainly nit good for you, but you can also suck on something like a candy cane, or some other kind of candy stick

7. This one might sound odd, but it works pretty well. Get a small lid (cylinder in shape) that you would use for something like a perfume or spritzing/misting bottle. You can use hot glue and put a little handle on it if you’d like to, but you can go any direction you want to and kind of make a DIY art project paci. Just..make sure you wash it first. Don’t want any nasty tasting things o.o

8. If you have a toothbrush with a big rubber handle, or just a softer tootherbush, you can suck on the handle part (WASH IT FIRST)
