Mega Flygon has always been that golden goose of the fandom, spurring countless designs and iterations on the idea that while spectacular, I never felt quite hit the mark.

Flygon finds success in its simplicity: just the right amount of color and just the right amount of shape balance. Adding too much paradoxically takes more and more away from what made Flygon such a stand out.

To do the Mega justice, I feel like it needs to be bold and surprising, even derailing the english name "Fly"gon as it brings back a part of itself long forgotten. Something reminiscent of the fact that the pre-evolution Trapinch has the exact same base attack total as its final stage with a whopping 100, and in need of more power it calls back to that stage of its life once more.

here's a size variation for Octillery! The XL one is inspired on the giant pacific octopus and a cruiser tank while the XS is inspired by mortar cannons and the blue ring octopus!

(Beginning of Pōkami Au thoughts)

5/13 Brush Gods!

Pōkami Au versions of the multiple brush gods of Okami!

Why some have more than red and white and why others do not? Simply because they didn't look right with just the two colours, and the ones with more colour fit better really it's fiiiiiiiiiiiine XD

No rhyme or reason why I chose who to be the brush gods except they are similar enough to their counterparts to work. Like Emboar for Bakugami, he was pig enough to count along with his lil tepigs, and for Sakigami of the Hanagami trio, Simisear is fire type despite the trio is supposed to be for grass type abilities, but monkey trio is all I had that worked great so here he is~

Tachigami, ratattas are cut slaves, and who's no better to wield powerslash than the route 1 rat? Rayquaza and Milotic were just the right shapes to be close to the OG brush gods so thats why they're there, Milotic more than Quaza being a water type

More brush gods to come when I figure out who best to be used!

I couldn’t think of a name for Igglybuff so this is what you get lol. I gave the Jigglypuff fusion the anime Jigglypuff’s microphone/marker. Also I named the fusion Lullaby in honor of the fact that Pokemon Violet said that I couldn’t name my Jigglypuff Lullaby. Even though it’s listed as the Lullaby Pokemon in the dex. The apple that the Wigglytuff fusion has is a reference to guildmaster Wigglytuff’s obsession with perfect apples in a couple of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games.

Meet Rubeduck, a very recently discovered pokemon after scientists attempted to awaken Golduck's psychic powers using metal!

Name comes from Rubedo (alchemical success) and duck. (also it sounds like rubber duck lol)

👻Greavard Ability Forms~!!👻 I really wanted to do another one, this time Greavard!! The idea for Fluffy hit me like a truck, while Pickup was a bit of a challenge. #abilityforms is a cool challenge started by @n0rtist . The fur on the body of a Greavard with the Pickup ability is a bit more curly, making it easier for items to get stuck in it. Its candle shines brighter and it has a heightened sense of smell. I thought it was cool if Revives, items that are rather common when using this ability, would just grow from its fur due to its connected with life and death. For the Fluffy ability, I also made use of them being shaggy, but now picking up fluffs, leaves, bugs and twigs, all things which add to its floof, but also highly flammable (because while Physical Defense is raised with this ability, Fire-type attacks hit twice as hard). Got kinda obsessed with this challenge, but I think I got all of it out of my system~!!
