Hypmic Speakers as Outfits

Okay- this was

Half a year ago...

I had this grand idea of an au, where they have their speakers as outfits and their mics ability as their own ability-

I had done Sasara and Kuko first and planned to move down the list to up, but have not brought myself to finish them yet. Sasara looks hilarious in his, I mainly forgot the main koban that his cat usually holds rip

Kuko's clothes were inspired by "modern" monk clothing, especially the front of the cloak. The tail is connected with the cloak, but I imagine it to move the way he wants it to. Also as I was lining and making the pink bit glow, I began to realize that pink on navy... It's really threatening considering Chuuoku LOL pink on navy will only ever be intimidating to hypmic fans

I only got Ichiro afterwards- I love the idea of all the spraypaint/stickers on Ichiro's speakers is just plastered on him (totally thought of the DJ board as the light up screen shirts they had in middle school) His right sleeve is the blue and pink gradient~ and that one CD on his head would definitely just spin. Just spin.

Samatoki, Jakurai, and Ramuda do have outfits planned out however I need to get myself to draw them digitally.

SO I recently hit 500 days on ARB and I wanted to share my accomplishments~

So first off, I got MCD hurhurhur

Sasara was a pain to get. Surprisingly both pulled on one-plays

I didn't heckin screenshot Samatoki bu t

next I PROCEEDED TO GET A FULL COMBO ON TRAGIC TRANSISTOR A PART

SO UH NOW I HAVE FULL COMBO OF EVERY DH SONG LES GOOOOOO

All I need to get a full combo for every BAT song is kuko's Sougyaran BAM B part but we know that isn't happening anytime soon...

AND IT GETS BETTER

Full combo on the longest heckin ARB song same day, I never knew I had the patience. I was on a roll lol Summit of divisions part with 1k+ notes is still sitting at 2 notes away from the full combo and I thought that seeing your highest combo would be the best thing ever but everytime I pass it makes me >:0

Talking about long songs..

(appreciate sasara's sprite change, the smaller amount of hair on his head make him look so wide lmao)

Should I be tackling Kuko's part or Requiem?? >.>

And last but not least, new ranking update

Highest is Ichiro at 20, Sasara at 19, then it's a mix of 18s and such. Its a CRIME Doppo is not up there. I'm really excited to collect more though, seeing that rank 30 gives you their extra wardrobe card!! I want all of them :eyes:

Been a while since i posted but this is a love letter to a certain fic-

So I've been following this archive since its been out and its honestly one of if not my most favorite works-

First off, the feelings and scenes are written really well! I find myself reading some lines that are really in-character. I cry for all the Jakurai lines, even though he's not my particular favorite. I will admit, I didn't expect where it is now from the first few chapters and though it was a bit hard to follow with miscellaneous characters, I personally think it makes the work better. Especially once you get to know 'em! Go Yanagi-san!!

There are many interesting takes on characters. Some characters and the way they interact with each other is changed because this time traveler/regressor (?) goes around and causes emotional pain different events from canon storyline to happen. The main is Samatoki, so people who stan come get your sad man X0 For a person who reads a lot of fics with ships, this is really good for a fic with no ships lmao Author is also very interactive with commenters, though I've really only commented a couple times (They have a tumblr even)

It's original, comedic at times, but mainly a lot of angst - if you read between those lines, you can relate a lot of information to more recent chapters and it leaves this gapin hole in your heart for the boys T.T I love finding small it-bits from the past that plays a role in recent things so its always a pleasure to recognize a piece of information that was mentioned before- although all of it leads to pain anyways

My personal favorite chapter is 26~

If you're up for a great binge read (I believe its the longest piece listed on the site and it's still ongoing) I really recommend this one!

Tried OpenToonz for the first time-

Watched a great tutorial on YouTube, but honestly took the whole day for this simple animation... A little disappointed on the idea that I should have been able to do something around the same level/quality or better on FlipaClip on my phone for like an hour than the ~8 hrs to learn this program ;w; I do want to spend my summer making animations/animatics though, so I thought it'd be better to go to the computer. Idk as of yet, still this was good practice! And maybe I'm missing some more things, I'd be up for any tips pfft
