Image 1: Sitting on the volleyball court, Kenma looks up at Kuroo and says, "thanks for teaching me how to play volleyball. I like it."
Image 2: Kageyama (Tobio) and Miwa attending Kazuyo's funeral, their backs to the viewer as they peer at a framed image of their grandfather from across his casket.
Image 3: Daichi, Suga, Kiyoko, and Asahi hold out their high school diplomas, beaming. Someone off-page yells, "thank you!"
Image 4: Hinata stares wistfully at his phone lockscreen — a picture of him, Yamaguchi, Kageyama, Tsukishima, and Yachi, presumably in their third year of high school. In the picture, Kageyama and Tsukishima are squatted down with displeased expression while Yamaguchi is bent down behind them with an arm wrapped around each of their shoulders and a broad smile; in front of them, Yachi smiles with her eyes closed and a peace sign held up, sitting behind Hinata, who is sprawled across the floor while doing an ILY (I Love You) sign with his visible hand. Back in his room, Hinata curls up in the corner with his knees hugged to his chest and his face partially buried in his arms.
Image 5: Iwaizumi thinks back to his conversation with Oikawa the eve of their final match in high school. In the flashback, the two are doing a fist bump; Iwaizumi says, "oh. But if we play each other, I'll grind you into the dirt." Off-page, Oikawa replies, "back at you." Present-day Iwaizumi chuckles, "heh heh heh" at the memory.
Image 6 (left): Aran and Kita's sunset walk conversation. Over an image of Atsumu yelling, "results are everything!", Kita begins, "lotsa kids don't like to agree with that. Me, I'm with the grown-ups." Head tilted skyward, he continues, "my everyday actions are what make me who I am. Results are just the side effects of what I do. After all, when I grow up I won't be making my living playing volleyball. But..." he adds, holding up his captain's jersey, "does this count on the result side of things?" Aran looks at him in bewilderment before exasperatedly blurting out, "bah! What do all the fussy details matter anyway?! Folks don't need reasons to feel the way they feel! If it makes ya happy... then it makes ya happy and that's fine!"
Image 7 (right): Yamaguchi grips the collar of Tsukishima's shirt and yells, "motivation? What more do you need than pride!!" A beat passes, Yamaguchi panting for breath, before Tsukishima says, I never... thought I'd see the day... just when did you become such a cool guy?" Taken aback, Yamaguchi explains, "buh?!" Tsukishima insists, "you're really cool", despite Yamaguchi's persistent astonishment.
Image 8: Udai saying, "ehhh! For real?"
Image 9: Hinata, awestruck, peers down at Kuroo's business card. Meanwhile, there is a flashback: presumably a young Kuroo says, "ooh! That's spiking! That is super-cool! But you can only do stuff like that if you're really tall"; Nekomata responds, "oh? Why don't we lower the net then? The first and most important lesson to teach is how fun it is to succeed at something." Present-day Kuroo, recalling the memory, tells an astonished Hinata, "I'm hard at work lowering the net wherever I can."
Image 10: Takeda facing the viewer with a soft smile and closed eyes, his hands behind his back.
