Another collection of pixel sorting favorites. This is an algorithm I created that is more focused on efficiency than anything else. It’s super lightweight and creates some pretty cool textures.

A collection of my favorites from this morning using an algorithm based off of James Thompson’s “Least Resistance” algorithm.

Been a while since I experimented with any pixel sorting algorithms. Tumblr is being fussy with uploading a sweet .gif of the 300 iterations it took to get a photo to this state, but the final image isn’t too bad on it’s own :3

Stumbled upon the SUPERFORMULA and started using it to generate some pretty awesome shapes.

I spent an afternoon working on a program for #procjam that generates some nice psychedelic, kaleidoscope-esque images.
