people usually refer to the alliance between nazi germany, fascist Japan, fascist Italy, and others, during ww2 as being the axis powers. it's official name was the Agreement against the Communist International however. being a system for enforcing the survival of capitalism during times of crisis, fascism always identifies communism as its main enemy. it's communism that threatens to eliminate private business, which is the very basis of fascist rule, and communists are always the first and fiercest opponents of fascism wherever it exists. to be anti fascist means being anti capitalist. but anti capitalism isn't an ideology or a plan for its replacement. communism is, which is why fascists oppose it so strongly
