Ranking words for Zombies I've seen from various zombie media pt. 1
• "Zombies" 9/10 Classic, a go to for sure but a bit overused. originated from Haitian culture.
• "Walkers" 8/10 gets the point across, used widely across multiple medias. solid. but a bit boring.
• "Clickers" 6/10 I love the last of us. But it sounds kind of like a slur.
• "The Undead" 8/10 they really are.
• "Ghouls" 6/10 not technically the same thing depending on the media, but its fun, especially when referring to female zombies. Used in Night of The living Dead.
• "Geeks" 10/10 my personal favorite and I will be using it when the zombie apocalypse happens.
• "Stenches" 8/10 Original, gross, but it doesn't really roll off the tongue.
• "Zombos" 4/10 this one really does feel like a slur. Great if you really hate zombies.
• "Bloaters" 8/10 usually refers to bigger or water logged zombies. Gets the point across.
• "Crawlers" 9/10 invokes a fear reaction. Absolutely terrifying.
• "Zeds" 9/10 british, original, I like it.
• "Biters" 9/10 Straight to the point.
• "Roamers" 10/10 Good for docile or slow moving zombies.
• "Runners" 7/10 Fuck that.
• "Zachs/Zekes" 2/10 Cool nick name but it doesn't really make sense in any real zombie situation.
• "Hungries" 7/10 they do be hungry.
• "Bonies/Fleshies" 3/10 I hated warm bodies.
• "Freakers/Freaks" 10/10
• "Groaners/Grunters" 9/10 Very accurate.
• "Stiffs" 6/10 I hope you can see my logic here. Still, kind of funny.
