I’m super sick rn and my friend was trying to surprise me with potato soup from this place I like.

He called and they were like “No, sorry, we’re not accepting take out orders right now.”

This man made up an elaborate story about how I am his 8 month pregnant wife and this is all I have been craving and he NEEDS it. So they gave it to him. 💀

If that is not a best friend I don’t know what is.

Working an overnight desk job by myself is the dream.

It’s 3am and I’m getting paid to eat handfuls of fruity pebbles while listening to Hozier and doodling on sticky notes.

My style cannot be defined. In one week I go from “90s punk rock” to “oversized toddler who just learned to dress themselves” to “is she sleepwalking?…”

I like to keep the people guessing.

I love giving gifts so much, I’m upset that none of my friends have upcoming birthdays! And I don’t want them to feel bad for taking random gifts! But I want to give them gifts! Ahh!

When I search for new recipes sometimes I’ll type in “picky kid recipes”………….it’s me. I’m the picky kid.

Throwback to that time I was heading to my grandmother’s funeral and I stopped at the dollar store to grab a water and the cashier said “You are all dressed up and going somewhere nice, huh?”

And I was just like “ahaha…yeah…” y’a know, trying not to make it awkward.

But no. She was like “where you going? Dinner?? A date?”

And I hesitated and she looked horrified and was like “….please tell me it’s not a funeral…”

Wonder if she thinks about that still, because I would.

The semester ends this week and while I know only a total of like 4 people here I’m going to miss the strangers that I recognize and subtly nod my head at/ make eye contact with on a daily basis :(

That feeling of embarrassment when you have a full on meltdown and then everything works out a few minutes later. Like whoopsies. That was awkward. 💀
