Maxwell expected betrayals in the Inquisition. It came with every great organization after all, but he never epxected it to hit him so hard or for it to lead to such calamity. Especially considering the Inquisition had been nothing but kind to some of these people, offered them homes, jobs.

He gets rather pissed off when he learns that it was Inquisition agents who brought the Gatlock into the winter palace, combine that with the betrayal of Solas, and the knowledge that even more spies lie in his Inquisition is what led Maxwell to shut it all down.

And it was hard, he had put all his time and effort more effort and time than he had put in anything else into this organization. And now i was gone. All of it was gone. He acted peaceful during the closing ceremony. But when he reached Skyhold to pack his things, servants report that they heard shatering of paintings, and sobs.

Tresspasser Decisions 

1.) Joined the fucking Red Jennys

2.) Freed the Dragon

3.) Did not have Bull betray.

4.)Promised to Solas that he will redeem him.

5.) Disbanded the Inquisition in favor of having a more secure way to defeat Solas.

6.) CROWSSBOW ARM.

7.) Spends time in Antiva with the Montilyets.

8.) He most definetly goes to that noble house in Kirkwall. It was a gift for fucks sake and it was from Varric.

Other important details: He grew out his beard over the two years, did he save it after Inquisitions end? Nope. It's growing out ( ignore the icons NOT looking like they are )
