Psalms 19:1
Psalms 23:3
“Some people live in cages with bars built from their own fears and doubts. Some people live in cages with bars built from other people’s fears and doubts; their parents, their friends, their brothers and sisters, their families. Some people live in cages with bars built from the choices others made for them, the circumstances other people imposed upon them. And some people break free.”
— C. JoyBell (via meineluft)
“She didn’t need to be saved. She needed to be found and appreciated for exactly who she was.”

Sometimes not knowing the plan of God for your life can cause you to feel as if you’re just wandering aimlessly. We know that God is guiding our footsteps but the question is where? But God wants us to come to a place where we are less focused on the destination and more focused on the journey, because it’s in the journey where we are prepared for the destination. If you find yourself constantly asking God where are you leading me or where is my life headed, chances are you’re not getting an answer - not because God want to keep it a secret from you but because He wants to trust Him. The more we trust God, the more He will reveal. So the next time you’re tempted to ask God where are you leading me, replace that question with the statement: I will trust you Lord!

Job 29:14 (ESV) - I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; my justice was like a robe and a turban.
When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.” Psalm 27:8 Many of us are after God’s hand, His provision and His blessing but the Psalmist David is going much farther—he is after God’s face. He wanted an intimate relationship with His LORD. Don’t let the demands that life brings keep you from what God is after. We want to be pragmatic and resolve our problems, but God wants us to know Him and, in the process, become more like Him. A relationship with God is much more than just changing our present situation, He wants to change us with His beauty…change us from glory to glory.
“When someone loves you, the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable.”
