Honestly I did page 2 mainly to figure out how I’d like to color Macaque’s and Xiaoxing’s hair later on💃💃💃
Macaques hair does all that cause he’s naturally white furred and all the dark fur is basically shadow dye(lmao) the less shadows he uses the more white his hair turns,, and seeing how he’s living a nice life at this point he doesn’t use his shadows as often, just for traveling and etc,, so he gets mixed hair colors😎👍

There’s quite a bit of stuff going on so breakdown time💃💃💃
I was looking to kinda start elaborating 3am’s timeline a bit since it is way different than what we think happened in canon and jttw,, this was basically the sparksnote version and more of Heaven’s involvement during those 500 years since Heaven’s role in Wukong’s and Macaque’s lives is the main plot of Celestial Affairs
This whole thing is in the pov of Macaque, so we don’t get a lot of what Wukong really went through during this period, but he changed a lot after everything he went through, they both did, and it’s because of these changes that they were able to start again, as equals after the journey (an a few centuries of fighting), because their dynamic had become more and more unequal by the time that the war on Heaven happened, highlighting how Macaque’s concerns were swept away by arrogance of winning,
But they both care so much about each other, and they both overcame their struggles….a little too well cause now they got a baby on the way😭😭😭👍

Initially he wasn’t gonna be Ma’s brother but him and her having similar shorten nicknames kinda made me think of it as family type of nickname, and then boom they became siblings lmaoo,,,, fun fact: Ba has only met Wukong a handful of time and most of that was when he was very young so he doesn’t really know him that much💃💃💃
