The update nobody wanted

I did pass out last night for 3 hours. Good thing I don't trust myself and had an alarm set so I was able to be awake for work. I didn't finish the draft nor did I get close. And I'm sitting at work right now (watching the little ones nap), still putting it off a bit. But like I said before. I'll turn in whatever I end up turning in. Not turning in a complete draft won't make me fail the course or anything. It's all good.

Update 2.

It's almost 1am. Haven't picked up the draft yet. But I am at 10.7k words in my journal, so that's something. Somewhere in there I told myself that it's just a first draft. That even if I turn in an incomplete draft, it doesn't mean I'll fail the class (I have the worst case scenario type of brain). That's all.

Update.

It's 10:30pm, and instead of working on the paper, I'm journaling. I can't write 4 sentences in my paper, but write 4 whole pages (and growing) on random thoughts. I decided not to sleep tonight. Why am I posting this all? I don't know. Weird mood I guess. This is one of those times I'm grateful I don't have a following. A friend or two will like something I post and that's about it. Is nice because I can post stuff like this and know that even though it will be out there for all to see, only a few will even bother to read it. I like not matterin. Nice feeling actually. I'm sure I'll update later. For no reason.

It's 7:30 pm here. I've been sitting at my computer since 2pm. My goal was to finish a first draft of a paper due tomorrow night. And I've done nothing. At all. Except distract myself. Annoying part? I have taken my medication. Both. So I should be motivated and focused. But I'm not. I haven't been this whole time. Does anyone else experience this? I just want to have confirmation I'm not alone when it comes to this kind of struggling.
