Please Stop Downplaying My Emotions Because "I'm Pregnant."

Seriously, when discussing my emotions and feelings, I am so sick of being shrugged off and not taken seriously because “you’re pregnant, so of course you feel that way.” And when I’m trying to confide in someone about a situation that would have ANYONE down in the dumps, I don’t want to hear, “it’s just the hormones,” because we all know that’s bullshit.

Of course I have extra hormones that make me feel a little more emotional than usual, like that’s the fact of the matter. But stop using my hormones and pregnancy as an excuse to make me feel like an idiot for feeling/thinking a certain way. I might be pregnant but my emotions are real and they’re logical and it’s not fair that no one takes me seriously because they think that “hormones” are always making me over exaggerate or some shit like that.
