God I miss having the bandwidth to make art. My day job - which is very secure and pays very well - is so completely draining on a mental, physical, and psychological level. I have nothing left after work. I have commissions to do and I basically have to force myself to do them, and the process is so deeply unpleasant that I dread it.

I am leaving that job in a few month to go back to waiting tables and I'm honestly excited. I'm also going back to school to study physical therapy which may or may not work out but idk I have to leave the situation I'm in or I will implode.

I've been doing thumbnails for DrakGamestein on Youtube! This has been so much fun and I'm thrilled to be able to be part of a channel I've been watching for years.

The clouds looked really cool on my way home from work the other day so I snapped a photo at a stop light and painted them.

This was about 1 hour in CSP using the rough wash brush at 100% opacity with the clouds being painted entirely on one layer.

In case anyone was wondering, this is what an ambulance ride costs without insurance in the United States. In October I called an ambulance and went to the ER with symptoms that could have pointed to something life threatening, before I had my new health insurance card.

I still don't have the ER bill yet.
