i wrote this post with happy tears in my eyes sitting in a parking lot after getting coffee for 3 hours with someone i did youth shakespeare with when we were teenagers and hadn't seen in 15 years, in which time we both transitioned, got into nerd shit, found a job that feels good, found people to spend our gay little lives with, and coincidentally moved to the same city. this is exactly how it felt. never ever ever kill yourself

Something I love about the Hellaverse is that half if not most of the cast is neurodivergent. Almost every character is either autistic or at least shows some signs of it (Charlie, Lucifer, Loona, Octavia, Bee) has adhd or bpd, (Moxxie, Ozzie, Sir Pentious) has ptsd (Husk) or some combination of the above. (Blitzø, Stolas, Vaggie, Angel Dust, Fizzarolli) I could be wrong about some and possibly could've missed others, but my point is that this is the most representation i've seen for ND people in one franchise. And none of the characters have any negative stereotypes associated with ND people, they aren't demonized (no pun intended) by the narrative nor is their neurodiversity treated as a magical power to inspire people. They just seem like human beings who could actually exist. (Even if they are demons, or technically an angel in Vaggie's case.)

The fact that kids nowadays want ao3 to be censored— guys. Guys. Where is your sense of adventure? When I was 12, and homeschooled, and had unlimited internet access on my second hand laptop, all I felt upon discovering ao3 was unmitigated joy. A whole platform where people can be fucking weird and post toe-curling novel-length diatribes about ANYTHING. How beautiful is that?

And then you, the reader, can just jump in and post your own weird shit? And people might comment just to say “nice job!” Or “where the fuck is the next chapter” on your 20k coffee shop FNAF AU? Bro. Them’s the little things that make the internet worth anything.

Ao3 is so beautiful. I love scrolling past indescribably disturbing descriptions. I love knowing they have a place to be posted. I love knowing that, should I feel the urge to indulge, I can do so with no repercussions.

Mi familia. Mis amigos. Por favor. Take a step back and be grateful that not every facet of creativity has been locked behind an algorithm.

This is my favorite Goncharov post so far because:

1. The concept of an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE for a movie that DOESN'T EXIST is sending me into another dimension.

2. Despite appearing nonsensical, we of course are living in a world where the established Canon of Goncharov is that they do not survive everything and grow old together.

3. Of fucking course Tumblr would imagine a movie with two characters with intense homoerotic subtext, kill them violently with their love unfulfilled, and THEN create AU FAN ART WHERE THE LOVE IS FULFILLED.

And all of it fucking slaps I love this so much
