Toad winds up getting the last seat on the nearly overcrowded jet, squatting on the cramped spot and struggling to strap himself in. He hated anything that flew. He also hated all the disgusted glares he was getting from the other mutants. He sighed and just stared down at his toes, more nervous about what’d be happening to him over everything else that was going on.

A small explosion outside set Toad’s heart into his throat. He whipped his head around and caught a glimpse of an approaching Sentinel. It was taking aim at the jet. “Might wanna step on it guys” he piped up, the rest of the unsettled crowd on the jet becoming aware of the situation.
