Tags everywhere regarding this sort of content are really hit or miss and I've found a HELL of a lot of misses haha;; I'm really glad this blog is doing a service to others, thanks so much for the kind message! :') I wanted a place to reblog the Real Quality Stuff so I can appreciate it on its own rather than dig for it and just plopping it on my main where all my friends can see it (some of them would probably rather not, I gather)
Stupid fat chin old man wants a snack in the middle of the night (=_=). Highlighting was the most fun part of this work, lol i remember when i was a teenager when the movie came out and i was going absolutely bonkers for future Leo ((+_+)). Pleaseee i swear I'm practicing backgrounds.
Anyways, this is my little celebration for reaching 600 followers (and technically 500 because I COMPLETELY missed that so I made sure to go above and beyond this time hejaje). SO THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR THAT! I am very glad that you guys like my stuff :D
On another topic, this was originally gonna be a DTIYS post, but I realized that I’ve never done one of those, and that using an animation as the reference image was… probably insane. Plus, I wasn’t sure if anybody would actually participate, so I’ve left some optional suggestions (and key poses) down below for anyone who would like to treat this as a DTIYS.
ANYWAYS, ANYWAYS. Again, thanks for all of the support! I never expected to get this far in these last few months, and I can’t wait to make more silly (and traumatizing) animations for you guys!
Speaking of, it is now time to speedrun the animatic I’ve been meaning to work on, and hopefully I’ll get to share that with everyone sometime soon! I am very excited for it neheheh…

As I mentioned before, this was originally intended to be a DTIYS thing, but I couldn’t pick a pose and it rapidly spiraled into an animation (don’t ask me how this happened; blame my lack of self control).
But if you would like to make something related to the animation above, here are a couple suggestions!
Also here’s my reference for Leo (the one in the animation is specifically the S2 version, aka the one in the middle)
1. Drawing
Above are the key poses featured in the animation, along with the last image having the little Casey chat bubble overlay.
You could take your pick from one of these poses and draw it in your own style, or you could draw an entirely new pose/camera angle/etc! It’s entirely up to you.
Or you could just draw whatever/whoever you want ngl, I’m not gonna stop you :p
2. Animating
you’d actually have to be insane to try this but I’ll suggest it anyways
If you have access to an animation application or a software that allows for animating, you could try reanimating the above GIF!
I imagine this may be good practice for anyone who wants to try animation or someone who wants to practice it a bit more, but I’d recommend only doing as much as you have time for/that you’re capable of doing. So… probably just a portion of the animation rather than the whole thing. (I will also mention that the last part with Leo pulling the sword over his head took more time and tears than I’m willing to admit, so I’d avoid that part if you’re a beginner).
Also, I animated on 4s or 6 frames per second if that helps any
3. Writing!
Not an artist but would like to participate? Maybe you could write up a small story around the featured scene!
For this animation specifically, I’d imagine Leo has just returned from a mission and runs into an excited little Casey who’s missing his father figure. Although, you’re completely fine to invent and write your own scene up with your own ideas.

I'm still messing with some new tools and flexing my rendering skills between working on other projects. I decided to go ahead and finish this since the lines turned out so nice on it.
