What's your bad timeline all about?
I suppose to uhh summarize the best I can, The Forgotten Time will be about my interpretation of the 24 years we didn't get to see of the invasion.
All 24 years (I count from the start of the rise movie production to the date listed in the movie, 2044)
I'm not gonna go into every single day of those 24 years (I'm not insane) but my timeline will include all major events, important character development moments (Leo, mostly), and maybe even some special missions that we missed out on in canon Rise content (i.e. a Brains and the Brawn special mission, an episode about Donnie's passion for botany, etc). Also tons of custom krang creatures... like... too many of them... there's a reason why Mikey gets his gray hairs.
It sounds like a lot, but I want to include as many details as I can into this AU, as that is what is fun for me. Additionally, it is designed to make the years "blur together", so it'll likely end up feeling like 10 years rather than the full 24, despite the timing being so. It's probably gonna take me a while, but the format I plan on doing it in should permit me to cover major swaths of time in an entertaining, satisfying way.
As of right now, I intend on splitting it into three, chronological parts as follows:
S1: First 10 years of the apocalypse (although I may end up lessening it to 8 or 7 years depending on my planning for S3). This will cover the start of the resistance, how the brothers and April end up integrating into their roles, and focuses on mainly showing what happened to Earth after the Krang successfully came through. This should end up being around 10 parts, with maybe a prologue to start off.
S2: Starts off with Leo becoming the leader of the resistance. This is the part that includes the most character development, angst, and interesting battles/missions, so I'm excited for this portion. It may end up being 10 or 15 parts depending on how much content I can cook up for it. It should last roughly 9 years, so 2030-2039 (again, this may change if I end up needing more years for S3). All of my bad future animatics that I've made (and am actively making) fall into this section, soo it's definitely my favorite.
S3: This is the one I'm still trying to figure out. It's going to be very Casey-centric, as it covers the final years leading up to him being chucked into a different dimension, but I've run out of ideas/drama to scatter across that time period. At worst, I may end up only doing 5 parts outlining the very end of the resistance, or maybe even just Casey and Leo's father-son relationship, but we'll see. This one's kind of up in the air at the time being.
I will also note that this AU will be VERY angst-centric (take Stuck Together for example; as traumatizing as that situation was... there are worse moments that will occur in this AU). I will have light-hearted bonding moments, and I have a TON of funny jokes/lines already lined up, but that will be equally combined with the horrors that I put these turtles through. Major gore/injuries will be kept off screen, but instances will still be present. I mean... across the four of them, four limbs are lost and one is turned into KFC, so damage clearly does occur xD

Overall, it's gonna be fairly massive and a big passion project for me, but if I ever end up unable to complete certain parts or unmotivated, I may box a section and make it at a later time. We'll see!
