Finally finished my speedran bloodletting animatic this fandom is a cage.
It is me, that one guy who shows up every time someone does doodle requests/bribes specifically to request Batwen (Bat Owen). You'll never guess what I'm here to request.
You get two extra bats, just cause I felt like it. The Trustbats, if you will. This is sort of a redraw of some traditional art I posted here ages ago.
From biggest to smallest we have Legundo, Louis, and then itty bitty Owen.

Something very interesting about V!Owen is that he likely was called a vampire before he actually was one. In many European folklore, especially eastern ones, it was believed that vampires were the carriers of disease and death. Many sudden outbreaks were often blamed on vampires. So, it’s likely the town would’ve labeled him as one already because of his illness and those beliefs
It’s something of a self fulfilling prophecy that he was likely ostracized under the assumption he was a vampire, leading him down the path to where he eventually actually became one

Finally finished my speedran bloodletting animatic this fandom is a cage.
(in light of new information) I'm casually wondering how Owen would feel if he found out Louis didn't intentionally fight for his life. Guys, they were given, like, three seconds to meet in the afterlife before Owen got sucked into hell, they didn't even have time to talk or anything. But imagine if they had that chance—no matter how—and Owen found out Louis let himself die. Hah. What then. Especially considering ccOwen had heavily implied that vOwen and vLouis were engaged. That they made promises to each other to be companions and walk hand in hand into eternity. And then Louis just did nothing. Just nothing to stay with Owen.
It literally kills me. The fact that the people of this town meant more to Louis, and he wouldn't have let himself kill them, even for protection reasons . The fact that he thought he deserved to die because he took human blood -> became the same as the "bad" vampires. The fact that, in the end, Owen wasn't the center of his world or anything, when Louis definitely quickly became everything to Owen. The fact that Louis couldn't predict the death of the townspeople at Owen's hands and, during their meeting in the afterlife, dared to look at Owen with disappointment, with pity -> doesn't see his own fault for what happened. Like, yeah. Owen broke free from the leash. But Louis was the one who willingly let him go, and not knowing how Owen would behave doesn't absolve him of responsibility for the fledgeling, imo.
I just need to smoke the amount of cigarettes people give Mii on their islands, and then the same amount more to calm down. What was that today. I still don't feel normal
Imagine rotting in hell for eternity, thinking about how you screwed up, how you let Louis down, (high chances) regretting not choosing a different path, and then maybe ending up in the afterlife with Louis. Cherishing every memory of him. Gradually forgetting his face, his voice, his smell, and any and all things associated with him. Or smth. I don't know how hell affects characters in vsmp, it's not that important.
Anyway, remember when we joked about Louis needing to leave that horrible, hateful killer for %insert character name%? Haha. Now we know that Louis condemned Owen not just to eternal torment in hell, but to torment in hell filled with delusions about what he and Louis were. I have no doubt that Owen still sees himself as unworthy of Louis and hates himself, completely unaware that Louis chose not him a long time ago. Oh well.
I want to scream at Owen to stay away from this Mayor. Because... Yeah, honestly, if Louis hadn't fucking touched him, Owen wouldn't be rotting in hell full of sorrow and pain. Maybe he would even have gone to heaven or just... a better place. Louis really fucked everything up.
