Life is Strange Reunion may not be a perfect game, but I do believe it was the right game. Sure it's not some masterpiece and it's not the thought provoking tour de force I think some people were hoping for, but I think that's okay. In truth, the whole game is an epilogue. A love letter and a send off for the characters.

And I know a lot of people are sad or upset that you can't romance Amanda or Safi, and while I totally get players wanting to see a romance with them, there's only ever been one girl for Max Caulfield. And that's the whole point of the entire series. It's always been Chloe. It will always be Chloe.

Because Max isn't a blank slate protagonist. She's closer to characters like Joel or Geralt. We make some decisions for her but in the end she will always be who she is, not who we want her to be.
