poor people are quite literally expected to shorten their lives, and worsen their quality of living instead of asking for help to alleviate their pain and suffering.

it’s considered a grave social more breach when you go to the ER or see a doctor for something you’re pretty sure wont kill you immediately.

everything poor people do to maintain their health is seen as frivolous extravagance by the upper classes

Don’t listen to anyone who calls your identity “confusing.” You make sense to you. A friend continually misgenders you? Kick them to the curb. Someone deadnames you? Walk right on past. Your parents disapprove of your presentation? Find small, secret ways to express yourself. People say, “but you look so much better as _____,”? Get up in the morning, and be yourself anyway. Paint your nails. Grow your hair out. Go on hormones or get surgery. Change your name. 

Moral of the story: you know what’s best for you, so go get it. Don’t let anybody stop you, even and including you.

as you’ve probably seen we have a donation post going around right now to help us get out of our awful apartment complex. it’s been around a hot minute and donations are slowing down majorly which means

rent time is here and we’re screwed!

the thing about being poor is that uh, it’s expensive. currently both of us are pulling in as much as we can, but we’re both disabled and also both sick as dogs right now unfortunately. seeing as we can’t leave the complex this month we’ve still gotta pay rent and that’s.. not. gonna happen right now. we need about $700 we don’t have after medical expenses, bills, etc.

So a teacher in my friends’ class told them he had grounded his daughter for wearing make up at school, and turns out that the next day every single girl in class had slapped the brightest blood red lipstick they had and there was a line in the bathroom to apply knife sharp, enormous curves of winged eyeliner on everyone and they looked like a legion of warrior goddesses on their way to avenge their sister, so when the teacher came in the room his face just FELL and he kept avoiding the girls staring at him during class, so they started raising their hands and asking questions about the subject to force him to look at them, and if you don’t think girls are amazing when they get down to battle you are missing out on something glorious
