As much as I love a hoodie, I envy the luxurious tailored wool coats you have when you’re out and about on official business, there’s something wonderful about a men’s well cut woollen coat. Wins out over a hoodie any day.
Hmm, you do have a point. They are very nice coats. Very warm. Christian has run around wearing mine more than once now that it’s getting colder because it he trips he just ends up in a bundle of fabric.

I agree, I think hoodies should be accessible to all classes. They’re perfectly warm without excessive material, and they match with all types of clothing so ti’s impossible to make one look bad. Truly a gift.
Things are wonderful with me, thank you. Halloween is just around the corner and the kids are so excited that I can’t help but be. On the other hand, it sounds like you’ve got quite the handful.
Oh I wouldn’t call it a handful. Just another day in the busy life of a husband and father. I quite enjoy it really. We all get to have hoodie days.

I’m doing fine thank you. Just enjoying life with my little family. The boys keep getting bigger every day.
Days are getting colder in Denmark and when i’m not out in public I tend to bundle up in as many hoodies as I can manage. I really think royals wearing hoodies should be made a thing. Maybe I can make a few calls and some of the more popular royals across the world can start a casual clothing movement.
How are things with everyone? I’m dealing with an excitable toddler, a baby who is discovering his legs, and a mummy who is a little under the weather.

Smiley days in Scotland! Don’t ask, just accept and let the contagion spread ‘cause I’m sure everyone can use one every once in a while. I know I’ve been hard-pressed to find one the past while, but things are looking up.
With that being said, I’m back in Edinburgh safe and sound. I’ve spent a lot of time bouncing from here to Los Angeles for some much needed family time and have definitely fallen off the radar, but I’m stuck like glue now! Can a girl get some socializing on and get back to some regularly scheduled normalcy? Thaaaaaaaaanks.

Oh. Okay, I guess that makes sense. I never thought about it like that. Why do all babies look like angry potatoes? I never did get why that happens. Also, I think it’s hilarious that sometimes babies look like little old people.
Well, I don’t know completely? I hope that she’s getting there, you know? Maybe she’s not happy yet, but she has happy moments, and that soon enough she’ll reach a moment in her life where she’s completely happy. I never forget when it’s that time of year. Literally can’t forget. It’s not exactly a sight that one can erase from memory, especially not when it’s someone you love.
If you ever needed the advice I would happily give it to you. Anyone who tells you it comes naturally is lying. It’s something you learn like anything else. How to hold them, how to get them to stop crying, what each cry means. It’s all on the job learning. I just learned when I was eleven.
When their faces are all wrinkled up and it’s weird because they’re a baby so it shouldn’t be? Babies look weird until they start to grow a little and their features aren’t all squashed together. They’re beautiful because you made them and they’re alive and it’s insane. I’ll be honest I thought Stefan looked like an egg for a long time.
I’d hoped you would have a better idea than I did but I suppose I was wrong. I don’t even know who else to ask.

My priority is always friends and family first. Knowing that they are good is what allows me to focus on my school work. No it doesn’t make things difficult. It’s the same as having a full time job.
No it’s nothing to be sorry about. Our past is unfortunately quite public now. We didn’t have a lot growing up but it means we appreciate what we have now.
Well I just know how difficult it got for me once people knew I was dating Elie. I couldn’t go anywhere without being followed. My social media was watched mercilessly. I was criticised in magazines and across the internet and I already had a small following because of my acting career but you’re still in school, you’re still pretty young. It’s a lot.

Some people are just lucky like that. Rey was singing before she could talk. It’s very cute until it’s 3am and you have a baby singing in gibberish to themselves right by your bed.

Lying isn’t really my thing. I’m not comfortable around kids, at least not babies. They’re fragile, and I’m not the most gentle human. I wasn’t meant to be around kids.
See, I don’t know anything about how babies react to their parents. For me, they generally take one look at me and then start crying. That’s another thing, I don’t have patience for babies crying. Is it true, though? That they’ll relax when their parents hold them? Does it really make a difference? You’re a good person, you and your wife, are good people. You deserve to hold something that you helped create. I don’t think anything I help create will be half as good for this world.
I hope that’s how she sees it. I’m lucky that I was there that night. I’m just glad that she’s still here. You don’t owe me anything, however. In the end she pulled through it because she wanted to survive, deep down. Either way, I’ll be there for her whenever she needs me. It makes me happy to see her happy.
I don’t believe that it’s not exciting. How much more planning before things get put in motion?
Lying isn’t always a concious choice. You may not be comfortable around children but I’ve seen you handle my own son and be around other children and none of them broke or cried.
If you’re stressed the baby gets stressed. It doesn’t matter if you’re their parent, their aunt, or their 3rd cousin twice removed. If you’re calm and they’re comfortable babies will calm down too. I mean there are certain things tht are reserved for family or parents. Like how all babies look a little like angry potatoes but their parents think they’re the cutest angry potato ever?
Is she? Happy? I know that she’s seeing someone new but she’s not exactly had an easy time of it the last few months and I only know part of the story. I’m sure there’s a lot she hasn’t told me. I just don’t want to miss something and regret it later. It’s that time of year again, you know?
Honestly, I couldn’t tell you.

I did an undergrad degree in theatre with a focus in physical theatre, worked professionally for a local company for a year where I played a lead in the spring production of The Bacchae, and played a secondary character in the summer and fall productions. I’ve attended several workshops over the course of my career, and then have spent a year travelling to learn about theatre culture in different countries. I’ll totally throw over my resume soon, though.

You always figured what was a lie?
I can only imagine. They come out, there isn’t a lot of personality because all babies when they’re born seem a bit the same to me. They cry, they eat, they shit, they sleep. Then all of a sudden personalities start forming, and they get bigger, and I wouldn’t even know what to do if I were in your shoes.
Rey is kind of stuck with me. I’m going to be that annoying person she can’t get rid of no matter how hard she tries. I might’ve messed up everything else, but I can at least try not to screw up a friendship. I tend to be good at those, at least.
Even with work? Or, you know, that whole royal life and everything?
You not being good with babies. I’ve yet to have any evidence you’re not.
When they’re little it’s all about watching them discover the world. Seeing them react to your voice or a sound. Watching them relax when you hold them close. Having them grow into their own person is wonderful but there’s something irreplaceable about holding something you helped create. Watching them smile for the first time, hearing them laugh for the first time.
I doubt she wants to get rid of you. The relationship might have changed but you two... to get cheesy for a moment, you two faced death together. That tends to bond people for life. I owe you a lot for bringing her back to us. If you hadn’t been as involved in her life as you were I’m pretty sure we would have lost her before Christmas. You saved her. She’d never going to forget that.
Work is a lot of planning at the moment. So nothing exciting.
