This blog will be interacted with by the Hades/Emet-Selch fictives of @noxthesynners. It is a sideblog so follows will come from that blog, which is our main.

You can find a general introduction to our system on our main. Here however, we will make one thing clear:

Endogenic systems are not a threat to the existence of people with CDDs. They never have been and never will be. Even when we have had bad experiences with them, we didn't blame it on their being an endogenic system, they were just a shitty person. We believe this about many things, the communities a person is part of or their identity should not be trampled on even if they're a bad person.

Which brings us to our next point; would Hades/Emet-Selch be pro-endo? Well, according to us, yes. If you think about it, the way he views things it wouldn't be something that's impossible for him to imagine Hell, FFXIV (the source he comes from) is full of plural rep (traumagenic and endogenic.)

Traumagenic example being the Warrior of Light! The player character, who went through a bunch of different traumatic lifetimes but barely remembers anything and has different selves they were in each life.

Endogenic example being Nald'Thal. They started off as a deity with a dual existence, but people began to worship them as twin brothers, but when you see their boss fight the plurality is visually represented.

Then the world of FFXIV itself is a traumagenic system. Plurality is all through that game up and down and sideways. Partly why our system is still super attached to it, even though we haven't been able to play for a long time now.

And we're making this blog just for fun. Syscourse related questions are fine. However, if you're rude, come at us with hate, or just rub us the wrong way you're getting blocked.

Anti-endos can interact but if you're rude/disrespectful/a fakeclaimer of pro-endo CDD systems/please stay away or block this blog. We aren't going to tolerate that type of bullshit from you.

Hello people. Just so you know, not all people with CDDs care about gatekeeping terminology. If system was exclusively a medical term for an array of alters, why do we see system being used in other places like:

Operating System

Heating and Cooling Systems

Nervous System

Public Transit System

The true definition is a thing of parts that works together to complete tasks or a function.

Systems of other origins a good portion of us with CDDs don't care what terms you use. You using Alter or System or any other term considered medical isn't going to make us lose sleep at night.

Use what feels right to you.

People who use plural do not owe you an explanation of their system's origin.

Assuming someone's system is endogenic because they use plural and don't blab if they have a CDD or not is fakeclaiming.

Leave people alone, they do not have to tell you if they have a CDD or not if they don't want to.

Time to remind people:

Transmed: "You can't be trans without dysphoria!"

Sysmed: "You can't be a system without trauma!"

Basically these two statements are saying the same thing.

That a person can't be trans or a system unless it causes them active misery and is ruining their life.

This is NOT transphobia.

We are literally part of a system that is a whole trans man. Calling people sysmeds is not transphobic. Misgendering someone and harassing them and being an asshole towards them, hunting them down and being problematic towards them is transphobic. Trying to legislate trans people out of existence is transphobia.

Calling someone a sysmed is not putting them in danger or denying their gender identity. Same when you call someone a transmed. There's literally no difference.

I think it's important to keep pluralphobia as a term. It is definitely under the ableism and saneism umbrella, but it has its own nuances and those are important to talk about.

If it weren't important to talk about the specifics, we wouldn't have specific terms for different kinds of bigotry. We'd just call it all bigotry, and claim that sexism, racism, ableism etc are terms that shouldn't exist.

But those specifics ARE important.

Pluralphobia isn't just ableism. It's specifically a subtype of ableism against the idea of being many individuals in the same body and brain, regardless of whether you experience other symptoms of CDDs or whether you identify as plural or not. I do think a better, more inclusive term could be coined, but it's what we have now and I think it's, for now, a good enough term to use in discussions.

When people are afraid because they think you're demon possessed, that's pluralphobia.

When people think you must have a headmate that's hiding murderous intent, that's pluralphobia.

When people ask gross invasive personal questions like if you have a super kinky headmate, that's pluralphobia.

When people assume that by saying you're plural you must be so delusional you can't take care of yourself, that's pluralphobia.

Yes, those are all ableist. They're also a particular kind of ableism specific to the experience of being many individuals in the same body and brain.

And yes, we've experienced all of those and more, and being able to discuss that particular type of ableism is important so we can properly combat it, and so we can unite together with other people who've experienced it.
