Strawberry Farm at La Trinidad Strawberries are currently off-season, so the price for picking had to be inflated to provide for the families of the farmers (PHP450/kilo). Apart from other crops, they have been putting up several "photo stalls" for tourists like us to take pictures with sunflowers and other flora for PHP10. It's good that tourism is an alternative source of income for them when it's not possible to grow strawberries.

“there is a loneliness in this world so great that you can see it in the slow movement of the hands of a clock. people so tired mutilated either by love or no love. people just are not good to each other one on one. the rich are not good to the rich the poor are not good to the poor. we are afraid. our educational system tells us that we can all be big-ass winners. it hasn’t told us about the gutters or the suicides. or the terror of one person aching in one place alone untouched unspoken to watering a plant.”

my ateneo education in .jpeg form, save for one sem in second year where i was taking lit major subjects. it’s crazy how my next sem will be my last sem as an undergrad. i’d finish my lit major if i were allowed.

today in accidental ~ahrt~: only noticed now that my tacked up old reviewers make for a pseudo-artsy wall display. (i think i needed the critical distance of not being in that class anymore to see it that way, haha)
