i know I've been saying this for months, but soon it's gonna start clicking for you all that the end goal of cuts to American social safety nets (medicare, medicaid, SNAP, EBT, WIC, etc) is to force women into total economic reliance on men, especially poor women. Sure, the wealthy want poor men to be wage-slaves pretty badly, too, but the real goal is a total dismantling of women's liberation

women will describe the most unempathetic, uncaring, detached behavior from their boyfriends and then be like "idk should i say something to him?" like babe i think you should kill him

#basically what i described in my last post #like what is the point of rehashing the same conversation over and over again #when he is so clearly demonstrating that he does not give enough of a shit to even actively listen

yesterday i was walking behind this het couple and i witnessed a type of fight i've seen hundreds of times in het couples: the woman was telling her man about him being unappreciative, limiting her growth, telling her she needs to change, but never making an effort to improve himself, ect, and he was just... silent? he just let her continue to talk without responding until she was spiralling, and he slowed down so she had to wait for him (that felt metaphorically relevant) in order to finish the conversation. he mumbled something about 'changing' and started trying to initiate physical affection. it's just so fucking obvious that men like this do not care about their female partners as people. they're just waiting until she stops talking and hoping that they can continue to sweep her feelings under the rug. and it works? women keep staying with men like this?! like imagine telling a friend that they've let you down/hurt you, and they look straight past you as if you hadn't said anything. would you continue being friends with that person?

#thankfully my neighbors have started arguing in the backroom so i can't hear them as clearly but this was 99% of their fights too #like christ on a cracker what is it with men? why do they do this? oh bc they don't care AT ALL #exhibit 9 million and 8 of male partners demonstrating that they fundamentally do not care about the woman they claim to love #this type of fight is the inspo behind my 'babe you should kill him' post bc WHY KEEP HAVING THIS FIGHT WHEN HES NOT EVEN LISTENING OH MY G #fish post
