Hello! I'm Faraday Silverleaf, currectly a professor in training. Studying Mythical and rare Pokemon. Currently living in Kalos being mentored by Professor Sycamore.
Hello, I'm Faraday Silverleaf. I'm currently working on getting that "professor" title. So I might be getting a bit ahead of myself with my blog's name. Nevertheless, I am confident that I'll have no troubles in my schooling and getting that degree.
Other facts about myself:
I was born in Unova. Specifically I'm from Lacunosa Town.
I'm currently living in Kalos (studying under Prof. Sycamore)
My main field of interest: Mythical Pokemon
My starter was a Porygon (their name is Zip)
I hate Team Plasma
Looking forward to making more posts in my future. Although, I might be busy with my work. (I'm currently searching for a rare coloration Pokemon can appear in, and I'm not talking Shiny) I've also gotten myself involved in a group that are investigating the Paldean Crater.
My Pokemon Team: (including tags)
Porygon Z (Zipfile) [#zipfile porygon z]
Magneton (Click) [#click magneton]
Klang (Clack) [#clack klang]
Abra (Houdini) [#houdini abra]
OOC:
Hello, I'm Fee, my main blog is @shadowonwater I'm 22. Minors need not worry, I don't do nsfw. Also I'm asexual.
I also run @ditto-dtto-ditto, @teamantique, and @team-glitch
blanket warning about unreality of course, this is a pokeblog after all, so I'm blogging as if I'm from the Pokemon world.
I don't interact with Legendary Blogs because it goes against my character's lore. Mythicals and such are supposed to be mysterious, they aren't if they are running a blog. And my character is supposed to be into investigating mysteries.
I actually have a fic in the works about my character here, I was actually working on that first before I realized that Pokeblog could go along with it.

Location: Professor Amaryllis’ Lab, Slateport city, Hoenn
Run by: @professor-amaryllis and @iheartnimbassacity
Details: Come join us in celebrating the lives of the two oldest bug type pokemon in our lives, Kuki the Joltik and Abuela the Spinarak! Do we know when their birthdays actually are? No. Do they have any idea what a birthday is? Also no. But that isn’t about to stop us!
There will be cupcakes and lemonade and party hats of various sizes, and Anyone who would like to come is welcome!
Please know that Dave and Amy’s pokemon DO live here, if your character has a phobia, feel free to message so we can make sure that no issues arise :) For this same reason, we ask that no ice types, bird pokemon, or cow-like pokemon are outside their pokeballs!
This is a NO STAKES event!! Just a cute little birthday party for two of our favorite spiders by two of the biggest spider lovers on Rotumblr hehe
Fuku stepped into the teleporter in the station. By now, it has expanded a little bit, and she could see peeks out the outside as the new additions weren't yet welded closed.
And the next, she was down in the deepest lab so far, Zero Lab. Scattered, faded papers dotted the room. Fuku was under the impression there was once more abandoned equipment here, but they have likely been scrapped and recycled for building material and new equipment by now.
One of the hard hatted workers walked up to Fuku, sounding a bit relieved.
"Thank Arc, Professor Tanaka. We found something down here, and we're not sure what to do with it. You need to look at this."
Fuku nodded. "Well, come and show me then. I'll follow you."
Fuku followed the hired worker, and, well.
"What in the actual FUCK-"
The room was massive, with black tiled floors and walls made of polished Terastal crystals. In the center of the room was a terminal, rusted from possibly months of disuse. Fuku looked up above to see a large machine on the ceiling, blades folded over each other. The metal was pitch black, and she had the impression it was sleek. However, large patches of dark red-brown mottled the machine.
"Any chance this works?" Fuku asked, looking back down at the worker.
"Nope. We messed with the terminal, but it's just as dead."
"We might as well scrap it, then," Fuku responded. "I'm going to probably have to rent more large equipment to get it down, though. But we could convert this whole room into a primary research lab. It's definitely big enough for it."
"So we're leaving it for now?"
"Only until we get something bigger down here," Fuku said, opening her phone to look at options. "Once we do, do you think you and the others can re-use the metal?"
"Absolutely," he nodded. "Metal's metal, and it doesn't take a lot to scrub off rust and tarnish."
"Good to know."
Fuku walked forward, still awestruck this room even exists. She knew the previous professor likely had the money, but even this was out of the realm she considered possible to build in Area Zero.
She ran her hand over the top of the terminal. It was rough, owing to the rusting of the metal, but the brief patches of sleekness revealed what its former texture was. Jeez, just how loaded was the professor?
Fuku turned around to head back in the portal, but noticed a small object somewhere in the tiles. This was somehow missed by both her and the workers, owing to its size in the grand scope of the room. She headed up and carefully picked it up in her claws. The disguised Zoroark was careful with it, this felt like it was many years old. She flipped over the pages. Some of it was smudged, and some faded, so it took a bit of careful flipping through. There was one thing that was fully clear, however.
"I have found that some of the work I have done here is entirely by own hand. The being responsible for the crystallization of the energy has indirectly aided me. I feel honored now that ▊▊▊▊▊▊ has chosen to aid me in my goal of creating a paradise. No matter what, I will succeed, even if it costs my life."
"Biiibiiiiiclangclang!"
There it was again. So it was just her ears playing tricks on her. Fuku was about to turn around to the source when she was accosted by a pink future Paradox that looked vaguely like a Blissey. Underneath the illusion, she readied a Flamethrower--at least until she realized the frantic body movements.
"Biiiclang? Biiiibiiiiclangclang!" it cried, wheeling around looking over the group as if it was checking them over.
“No, it doesn’t. I haven’t caught any new Pokemon since Susan,” Fuku said, watching the Paradox Pokemon moving around. “This Paradox Pokemon seems...EXTREMELY friendly for a Pokemon group that’s typically very dangerous in the wild, and most of the time even caught.”
The robotic Blissey made another call, this time towards a bush. A more primal looking Blissey, dark magenta with red marks, lifted its head out of the bush, before climbing out to help its futuristic counterpart.
“Biibiiikhh!”
“I mean. This is extremely unusual behavior for Paradox Pokemon, sooo. Probably? Maybe try the future one since the past one has some fangs,” Fuku recommended.
The two Blissey-like Paradoxes called in their cries, looking at Pahoo curiously.
At first, the wild Pokemon didn’t know how to react. But soon, it began to enjoy it, and it began spinning around in place on its stilt.
“Biiibiiiiclangclang~!”
Meanwhile, Fuku was on her phone looking at her digital copies of the Scarlet and Violet Books.
“So that seems to be an Iron Nurse you’re petting right there. And the other one is Thickfur Healer. They’ve been both described as being friendly to the explorers. I guess appearance and probably typing aside, they aren’t that much different from typical Blissey.”
Fuku rubbed her chin. “I’m gonna be real with you, I didn’t expect to find entirely new species this high up.”
Fortunately, it wasn’t spinning fast enough to cause any real harm. The Thickfur Healer waddled up to Pahoo, also demanding pets.
Fuku chuckled, before feeling her phone buzzing in her bag. She brought it out, answering the call and bringing it to her ear.
“Hello?”
“...”
“Yeah we’re at Research Station No. 1, what do you need?”
“...”
“Okay, I’m going down right away.”
Fuku hung up. “I’m being called down to Zero Lab to look at something. You guys do whatever you want up here, I’m gonna go see what‘s going on down there.”
"Good luck with whatever is going on down there." Silverleaf said.
He wondered how long Fuku would be gone, if it was worthwhile to just wait or do something else. At the very least he started writing down some notes in a journal about the groups findings so far.
He watched as Pahoo petted the Paradox Blissey's, making quick sketches of both of them as well as noting their surprising friendliness.
"Biiibiiiiiclangclang!"

reblog/like this post if you're a regular pokémon trainer!!
i wanna follow more normal guys here in rotomblr! if you're a "basic" pokémon trainer please like or reblog this post with basic info about your muse so i can get to know them a bit!
sadly this excludes gym leaders, E4 members, legendaries and evil team members. this post is for Vanilla Trainers only! although any reblogs for spreading purposes are welcomed! just specify in the tags what kind of muse you have :]
// does this include professor characters? Or does being a professor inherently make my character unusual?
like my guy Silverleaf here acts like a pretty normal guy, but he does get involved in shit like high stakes stuff sometimes, so I'm not really sure if that fits what your looking for.
Fuku supposed that distant Great Tusk might be the best and safest (for the construction crews) to test this theory on.
"Hey, there's a Great Tusk over there," Fuku pointed out. "We'll have to be careful because it can rampage if we startle it, but as long as we have a couple of contingency plans, we can see if we can scare it away with noise."
"ooooh this will be fun!"
gives a small bown and gesture as if asking fuku to go ahead
"you first! then Pahoo shall follow and others as well probably. oh this will be fun! Pahoo never seen a great tusk from close!"
"smart! if phone noise dont work dragonite is used!"
they give thumbs up to lacey while giving a smile
"and if that doesnt work... Pahoo will call a friend! a very sneaky friend!"
“Yeah let’s get the most loudest sound ready on your phones, and we’ll head out,” Fuku said. She opened her phone, already prepping her own most loudest phone call notification, Digital, which also happens to be her most hated one. She began walking down the path towards where Great Tusk was.
following while having chosen a certain noise that he found particularly funny and annoying. the voice of zapdos. truly something loud and obnoxious perfect for this mission
Silverleaf fell in line with them, along with his Houdini. The noise he chose on his phone was the sound of a train horn, it was one of the loudest sounds he could think of.
Even though he already had Houdini out, alongside plenty of other backup, he was still strategizing in his head about what to do if the Great Tusk attacked. He was already figuring that if teleporting didn't work out somehow, he also had his Klinglang, Clack, that could put up a decent fight.
On coming closer to the Great Tusk, Fuku would begin to take a more stealthy approach, moving slower and slower. She withdrew Snowdrift, who agreed all too well to return. Even for a Pokemon who wants to make sure his friend doesn’t die, he knew if things went wrong he was outmatched.
“On my mark,” Fuku whispered, lifting up her phone. “One, two...”
A very loud and harsh robotic beeping would ring out through the air, beckoning for more to join it.
Well, it certainly worked. The Great Tusk backed away from the tree in fright.
“Bwooooohkhh!” it cried out, looking around wildly before charging around in a panic.
Fuku felt bad, of course. It didn’t ask for this, but it did prove the theory. However, this might have worked a little too well, as it lifted up its front legs.
“Look out!”
“Bwooooooooooooohhhkhhh!”
The Great Tusk stamped down to unleash an Earthquake before fleeing from the perceived danger.

Well turns out that there somehow still is stupid Team Flare propaganda hidden literally in the walls of this building, so guess who has been taking down their shitty posters again??!!?!!??!! Anyway I found one that translates to "the sexiest evil team" and I thought you all would find that funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Teleporting is never a sensation Fuku could never really get used to. Sure, it's convenient. But it's a very dizzying, disorienting sensation as one moment she saw a great big room, and the next, a small building with a terminal and a singular bed.
The door automatically opens for Fuku, revealing the breathtaking sight that she's familiarized with right now. Crisp air, clean waterfalls, brilliant green grass, and Terastal particles glittering in the air. There was less construction crew at Research Station No. 1 compared to what was there at the gate, no doubt working on the stations further down Area Zero. Still the smell of metal was prominent as the exterior of the building is being cleaned and mended.
"ooooh pretty place! Think we will see metal future ones first or the brute past ones first?" 'pahoo' asked clearly excited. Tapping a feet constantly as if anxious at staying to watch the view
“First time here, huh?”
So far Fuku could only see Venomoths, a few Talonflame, and a Raichu, but no doubt there’s Paradoxes around.
“It’s either or, honestly. Around this station, you can usually find Scream Tail, Sither Wing, Brute Bonnet, Iron Bundle, Iron Hands, or Iron Moth. They’re troublesome but they’re not as dangerous as, say, Roaring Moon or Iron Valiant.”
Teleporting didn't bother Silverleaf in the least bit, it was an experience he's had many times with his Abra.
He walked up and took a look at the landscape, it was just as beautiful as ever. He couldn't see any Paradox Pokemon either but he was eager to see them. He intended to try to observe Paradox Pokemon in their natural habitat.
"Is there any chance that the construction going on could scare away the Paradox Pokemon?" He asked. Loud noises and lots of activity could scare away wild Pokemon, but he wasn't sure if the Paradox mon would be the sort that could be scarred away like that.
Having never teleported before, Verity was very disoriented. She took a moment to gather herself, and look at her surroundings, before pointing to Silverleaf. "Good point."
“I’d probably argue that’s a good thing for the construction workers, if Paradox Pokemon can be frightened by them,” Fuku said. “If you guys want to study them up close, you might want to move away from the buildings a bit.”
However, as a Pokemon, albeit in disguise, she was able to detect movement fairly well. And she happened to see a flash of pink exit it. Too dark to be a Scream Tail... it probably didn’t matter if it left so quickly.
"Hm... so it's unknown then? Well I think it's worth it to find out! Since Paradox mons are said to be dangerous, if we can scare them away with loud noise it would be useful for anybody who goes in here to bring like a megaphone or something."
"Perhaps we should take a look around the construction sites and the areas far away from them to see if there's a difference in Pokemon activity? It would be even better to see the difference in Pokemon around the construction areas when construction isn't currently under way vs when it is."
"If we have any strong proof that Paradox Pokemon don't like loud noise, it would be useful for safety for anybody who goes into the crater."
