One of the most important parts of Project Wosho is that we build our houses using a completely new method. Here I'll show you.
First, in a manufacturing building we build the interior walls, floor, and loft. We wire most of the circuitry and handle the majority of the plumbing before it ever leaves.
For the Wosho model, this is what it looks like before we ship it.
The next part of the house is the exterior framing. Usually this is built with a traditional 2X4 "stick frame." Project Wosho uses a technology called SIPs or Structural Insulated Panels. These panels make our home extremely energy efficient and because of the Eco-Panels patented locking technology, it can be assembled pretty darn fast too.
Here are some images to give you an idea of how the house is assembled.
It's so easy to assemble, we decided to offer our houses as a DIY kit as well as fully assembled.
