That was horrible
Definitely not the roll I was expecting...
booty shorts that say ‘insufferable’ on the ass
Baz buys them for Simon
And SOMEBODY buys them for Alex, but I rather suspect it might be Nora or Pez rather than Henry
Nora and Pez each got Alex a pair and he keeps them both because they’re in different colors
my biology professor has such a chaotic energy about him, last week i went to his office hours and somehow we ended up on the topic of gay marriage:
he said that when he lived in texas they changed the law to define marriage as “between a man and a woman in a house of religious worship with the intention to have children” so he filed his taxes as single and when they called him up like “you filed married last year” he was like “you changed the law, i was married by a judge in a courthouse and i have no intention of having kids” and they told him “you know who that law was for” and i guess he hung up on them and did not, in fact, pay taxes as a married man that year
Chaotic good
NO! This is Lawful Good! He is following the LAW! Chaotic doesn't just mean cheeky!
this is like how Sweden stopped classifying homosexuality as an illness because people started a campaign of calling in gay to work
malicious compliance is one of the best tools in the arsenal of civil rights activism
Always reblog for malicious compliance
can I just say that girls
I got cut off but honestly this is better than the original post
Road Trip (Nebraska in a turquoise mustang), oil on wood 9"x10"
AMAZING!
Presenting “Wedding Letters,” my contribution to the @goldendayszine! There’s actually an epilogue to this that I’ve been drawing, but it’s not quite finished yet. (Hoping to finish it in a day or so.)
Anyway, it’s INCREDIBLY fitting that the release day for all the zine content coincides with my 10th wedding anniversary (*blows kisses to Mr. VKelleyart*) because I drew a lot of the inspiration for this strip from my own wedding day and the path Mike and I took to the altar.
It’s a wilder story than you might expect, actually.
Because here’s the thing: My marriage was prophesied––twice––by my clairvoyant grandmother before she passed away.

OMG HER WEE FAAAAAAAACCCCCEEEE
Physically I’m here but mentally i’m coasting down the highway in the backseat of a 1968 tahoe turquoise classic mustang convertible as a sunburnt vampire shouts “You’re so beautiful!” at his oblivious dragon boyfriend who can’t hear over the wind
🌈 Happy Pride 🌈
Simon’s journey of queerness means a lot to me.
@krisrix I knew you were creating something special for pride and I was certain it would be spectacular but this … this has blown me away because it is art, and writing, and discovery, and acceptance, and so much more. It has rendered me first speechless and then exceptional weepy and had me so emotional by the last panels.
I will try to do this justice with my comments. First I want to tell you how absolutely brilliant the slow progression from near monochrome to full, brilliant colour was. The panels took us on a journey with Simon and the colour expanded and highlighted the progression of the story you were telling.
Simon started somewhat closed off, looking at his phone, not at Baz. Baz, on the other hand, was open and giving—bringing the tea, gauging Simon’s mood, gently digging deeper into the story but allowing Simon to express himself and validating his frustration. This Baz—his caring demeanour, the clarity and kindness of his words, the patience and gentleness of his explanations to Simon (he was completely on target with his Penny comments!) was so deftly presented.
The way we know Baz is effectively communicating when we see Simon’s tail wrap around his calf. His wing flaring to include Baz, wrap around him, bring him closer. The lovely moment the tension breaks and they share a laugh, so comfortable in each other’s proximity.
How Simon knows Baz has an outfit all picked out and the lovely last panels where they are together, where love wins, where they can proudly be who they are, loving each other and the colours swell into such rich, varied, brilliant hues. They’ve come into themselves. Their true colours. For each other and for those around them.
The details of the jeans tab. The edging of Baz’s shirt and shorts. The chest hair (😉).
And the hands at the end.
Without a doubt.
Truly a masterpiece. Powerful. Meaningful. The art and the words melding beautifully into a vignette that has such depth of feeling and understanding. And love.
I’m in awe. ❤️
Sorry for the rambling gush of words. And thank you for sharing this with us.
(Also it’s about damn time we saw Baz in some shorts and about time for Simon’s Wayward Son fantasy of Baz having his shirt unbuttoned to his navel to crop up in art again. It’s a good look 😉 especially with his mother’s blue scarf. ❤️)
fencing coach: how are your legs feeling after that workout?
me: sore
fencing coach: [[suddenly in a Russian accent]] Good. Make your thighs big as mother Russia. You know what they say about women with big thighs, yes?
me: [[also in a Russian accent]] Can crush head between legs like watermelon.
fencing coach:
fencing coach: [[still in a Russian accent]] You and I…we have very different fantasies
@glumshoe not sure how many times you’ve been tagged in this but I definitely thought it was your post
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TO OUR FAVORITE DRAGON BOY!! 🎉🎂❤️
I felt like some joyful Snowbaz was in order, so here’s a little pride-ful illustration to celebrate the day!
I support the goals of Moses and #LetMyPeopleGo but I’m disappointed to see what used to be peaceful protests take such a violent turn :( Politely asking Pharaoh to free the Israelites from slavery is more effective than unleashing plague after plague on Egypt. And now I hear that a lot of Israelites are out destroying their own communities by tagging their houses with some kind of gang sign? that’s painted with animal blood? What does that even accomplish? I agree that a whole people being in bondage and having their babies killed is kind of messed up, but it’s still never okay to destroy people’s property with hail and locusts. They need to show more respect to the people who’ve been systemically slaughtering them. Violence never solved anything :( Two wrongs never make a right :( :(

Trans people: hey, could you call me [chosen name] so I can be comfortable?
Cis people: ???WHY? YPU WERE GIVEN A NAME AT BIRTH! YOU HAVE SUCH A PRETTY NAME!!! WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT? It will confuse me so much! I’ll never get used to calling you that so I won’t even try. It’ll be a waste of money to change it

May I present Basilton Grimm Pitch by the amazing @rainbowrowell adapted from art drawn by Mr. @kevinwada
I was dying to use that quote ^^ originally I had planned for it to even be bigger showing off more of that gorgeous suit but I ran out of pegboards (and I already had bought additional ones) and I thought, let it be a close up. And well, he is huuuuge already.
Second pic shows you all the colours used in this project, 35 in total and around 22.000 beads 😊 I hope you all like it 🤗
