Apologising for the harm that you've caused.

Trying to change your behaviour.

Accepting that not everyone will forgive you and they don't have to.

Things Accountability ISN'T:

Wallowing in your guilt until you think of yourself as nothing but bad.

Accepting an overly distressing punishment for your actions.

Twisting yourself into knots to make sure everyone knows how disgusted you are by yourself.

Other people can't move on if you never do.

tumblr user @/lucid-cups has recently admitted to sexually assaulting someone, and shows little to no remorse for their past actions. They appear to be using this to garner sympathy and possibly self satisfaction, as seen in the screenshots.

While it's theorized they're an adult, it is not certain. They're in a polycule with two minors (who's names I will not disclose) with one being 15, another being 17.

Please block and report. Do not send harassment or hate to anyone involved, just please spread the word to keep bad actors out of the proship community.

I'm just so tired and broken right now. I've been having such a difficult time for most of the year and then something like this had to go and happen to just add onto the pile.

Explanation/vent under cut, TW animal death

So, my family had found and was taking care of an abandoned kitten for the past week or so, and he'd been doing alright. He was a super affectionate and sweet little black kitty with these big blue eyes and he was the fluffiest little guy I'd ever seen. He was super active and playful and would go attacking our hands, but it didn't hurt because his claws were so tiny.

I've been having a lot of trouble with sleep/waking up at decent times because depression, and I woke up super late today and came downstairs to everyone just in a generally bad mood in the living room and found out that he'd passed this morning.

I just wish I could have been there for him at all. The vet (allegedly) said that there wasn't anything we could have done and it was just his time to go, but it just hurts so badly to know that I wasn't there. He died scared and confused on the way to the vet and my heart is just in complete tatters from all of it. He was only 3-4 weeks old at maximum. He was just a baby.

I saw his mom in the yard earlier, and it helped a bit. It seemed like a sign of some sort that he'd made it to heaven safely, and that he'd grow up big and strong there. I wish he could have stayed here just a bit longer and I could have said goodbye, but I know he's in a much better and safer place (and he's far far away from my family and any more pain the world could have caused him.)

It's just hard to deal with so suddenly and in a place with very little actual sympathy. I've already been yelled at like 3 times today.

I hope tomorrow will be better.
