despite how he likes to come off, i think finding out that he's carrying would make him emotional (at least his idw iteration). he'd wonder if he's even worthy of such a thing as being a creator, but at the same time, the idea of bringing a life into the world after millennia of being trapped in a death dimension could be healing for him! not only that, he'd have a good support system to help him through the worst parts of it. as a creator, he'd be so protective of his kids and teach them how to defend themselves, though he'd have to learn to relax when tailgate (or whirl) gets into shenanigans with them. he could do it though, trust. Transformers Prowl AU
Pre-War AU where Prowl is still a detective. His Tacnet picks up so much information that it can overwhelm his mind. As a way to protect his processor, his mind causes hallucinations of the dead or missing mechs he is finding, and they tell him "what happened" in broken pieces. But in reality, it's his processor using the hallucinations as a way to display what his Tacnet is picking up on in a way that won't overwhelm him.
