“Trust me, I wish I was,” Lydia laughed dryly as they finally reached Suzie’s beat-up booger-green Kia Soul (ew), and slid into their respective seats.

“Maybe. Yes. Please crack a window in case I vom.” Lydia slammed her forehead against the glovebox as Suzie began to break at least 50 major traffic laws on their windy drive home.

Can't believe how many times I've seen people saying that Scaled and Icy didn't have enough or any lore for them. Are you serious?? SAI had more lore than Trench!!! It had the most lore!! It was all lore!! SAI is propagandaaaaaaaaaaaaa

scaled and icy has the most lore out of all their albums!!! once you literally scale back and isolate the lyrics, SAI is actually very reminiscent of the self-titled album and ties the old songs into the current narrative!!!

PLS relisten to this album with a post-clancy mindset you will appreciate it so much more and if not you can sue me whatever but i will die on this hill

Jake flops back onto his bed, and maybe it's his imagination, but he can already feel the hotness cling to him, that infamous L.A heat. Jake lets out a sigh.

In the silence, he can hear a door open, then footsteps coming towards his room. They stop outside his door, hesitant. Jake waits a beat, then calls out in a heavy croak, “It's open.”

The door opens, and Johnnie slips inside.
