Admittedly, stealing information from the labs here was far too easy. Which, also admittedly, meant there was just about nothing useful there. Nothing about the city, for sure. So he settled on doing it for fun, because he could, and because there were more than just baseline NPCs working in places like these, so the information could be useful.
Crouching, he quirked a brow as he saw her, telltale horns and sign on her coat clear. Trolls likely wouldn’t take issue with a little casual snooping. At least, not the ones he knew.
“I don’t think I’ve met someone from your part of the hemospectrum before.” He mused, mostly to himself.
“There was a jade I met, only once though.”
People living in the shadows knew how to spot others, it seemed. You saw this teal-haired human over at his laptop, tapping away in a place neither of the two of you should be. It wasn’t too strange, in retrospect.
It was his mention of the hemospectrum that threw you off. None of the other humans you’ve met had done this... Curiosity piqued, you decided to make yourself visible.
(similarly, i haven’t met a human aware of alternia’s caste system.)
(but i suppose you must have met other trolls if you do know???)
And just like that, the window into your heart is locked again.
(jades are even-tempered most of the time. keep to themselves. olive trolls are much less predictable.)
(humans don’t seem to have different blood colors, do they???)
