Aww thanks for the tag @animaniachan!! It’s a bit hard to see but I definitely used the option to give myself dark circles under my eyes, haha!! I’m just always sleep deprived so I feel like they’re permanent fixtures on my face (bless my glasses for helping me hide them). Made myself wear a turtleneck and cardigan because it’s still cold where I’m at 😑. And ironically, I was actually drinking bubble tea/boba as I was making this! 😆 Can I just say, I wish my hair looked that good right now, though?? Public health social distancing rules means I can’t get a haircut and I badly need one!!

Dude what if

What if there's an utapri AU where everything's the same except Haruka is imagining some things?

Think about it.

More about the AU:

- The boys aren't actually in love with her. She's just the composer girl who every now and then strikes up a conversation with them. In their eyes, she's just this nice friend who's kind enough to compose their songs.

- Cecil doesn't exist. Well...somewhat. He does exist, but in a different way than what is shown in the anime/games. He isn't in love with Haruka, he just loves her songs and thinks she has a big talent when it comes to composing.

- The events of the anime/games are somewhat real. Basically any moment that doesn't have anything to do with Haruka actually happened in reality, while the moments where the boys go "I couldn't have done this without you" or anything similar is just Haruka exaggerating it and bending the truth a little. Truth is, the boys are actually saying it to each other. For example, the moment where she found the missing pieces of Ren's lyrics? That wasn't her. She wasn't even there to begin with. In reality, instead of her finding it, it's the members of starish.

- She didn't help with anybody's problems, they kindly declined her offer of helping them, and they ended up seeking professional help. This made her frustrated, so she decided to lie and say that they came to HER for their problems.

- She wasn't the one who made Satsuki see that Natsuki is strong enough to protect himself. It was actually Cecil, and she played it off as him being oblivious to Satsuki's existence when, truth is, everyone already knows about him.

- Remember the part in season 1 where she got overwhelmed by the city, and Hayato's songs saved her? That was what started all of this. Ever since then, she went insane without knowing, and cue the events of this AU!

TL;DR: this is an AU where Haruka's life is incredibly uninteresting, and she went insane due to being overwhelmed by the city in season 1. as a result, she started making up stories that didn't happen, and/or she involved herself in other people's business. Like...in reality, she looked for people who've had something interesting happen to them (in this case starish, QN and heavens), and tries to involve herself in these moments. Like, sure she's starish's composer, but in their eyes she's nothing more than just a friend who composes their songs and occasionally hangs out with them. Soo basically the boys like her, but as nothing more than a friend.
