1. I made Gnocchi with mushroom, babycorn and thyme the other night for dinner. Garnished with mint, lime zest, mozzarella and olive oil. Slept so well after that meal. 🐰
2. Dinner cooking. Hummus and pesto veggie sandwich with roasted carrots and babycorn on the side. The veggie salad inside the sandwich had sprouts, onion, rocket and mint leaves, sliced zucchini, tomato and cucumber, with olive oil and herbs seasoning. I have made more food posts this week than I ever do. 🍴🐰
3. Let's just say I was in the flow. Cooked Pesto pasta with Broccoli last night. Home made pesto with fresh basil, pine nuts, almonds, sunflower-pumpkin seeds and olive oil. Tossed with Broccoli, thyme, walnuts and garlic. Yumneess unlimited!
4. I was reminiscing about the salty-sweet tomato soup that we used to get during train journeys (ala irctc). Decided to get inspired by that memory and do a dish of my preparation.
The base thick soup is tomatoes, black carrots, turnip, sprouts and arugula with spices. Loaded on top with brocolli, bokchoy, carrots, turnips, corn, green chana, mint, crispy croutons and almonds.
5. Cooked tomato and black Carrot pasta, mushroom sautéed in thyme and lemon grass, topped with almonds, walnuts, seeds, chopped basil and feta cheese.
6. Raining outside, Stan Getz on Spotify, breeze through the window and a strawberry gimlet in my hand.
7. At this very moment I'm craving a dessert cocktail. Specifically the drink I made and call it 'Dark Charm' which has cocoa powder, Limon rum, lime juice, sugar syrup, chocolate bitters and shaken with egg white.
8. Some cocktails I made for Sanchit and Khyati last night. Featuring a rocket and mint gimlet (or a rocket east-side), The Clover club, Gin and Jam with blackberry preserve, Thyme smoked bourbon old fashioned and a hot-tea toddy. Photos stolen from Sanchit's instagram. 😀🍹
9. Who needs a breakfast cocktail in their system this weekend? Tequila, strawberry Syrup, lime juice, Grapefruit bitters and egg white. Smooth yet dry mouth feel, make it your coffee replacement. 😆
10. How to start this Sunday off? I know, make a #Sazerac. #absinthe wash on the glass, #peychauds bitters, #rittenhouse rye #whiskey and that twisted orange peel expressed over the giant ice cube.
