Jack3d & Me
Just finished up a bottle of this glorious supplement. My thoughts? It's a shame people abused this. I've used many pre-workouts, and this is hands down my favorite. After a week of using this, I ran out and found another, just to feel safe.
Day one on this, started with one scoop. Did that for three days (that's what the directions say) then took a day off. Guess what happened on day 5? TWO SCOOPS. Been two scoopin since.
Taste? Doesn't have much at all. Very subtle. I had Grape Bubblegum and hardly tasted either. No fillers are added to this. No BS. Just straight ALPHA in these scoops.
Results? I'm not lying when I say I've never felt more focused on a pre-workout. Instantly was hungry for weights. No caffeine hives breakout or crazy *hits, just a pure "all I want to do is lift *ucking weights" feeling.
NOXplode? Made me *hit after taking it. No thanks. 1MR? A good alternative, but often made my face get super red. Pump-HD? Another good alternative but less focused. Jack3d is what's up.
Can't wait to open up bottle #2.

Women & Weights
Can anyone tell me why women (blanket statement) are afraid to use weights and only rely on the cardio equipment?
I walk into my gym today to find, you guessed it, dudes crowded by the dumbbells and chicks all over the treadmills/ellipticals.
You realize that lifting weights will help you get to your goal quicker, right? I promise.
Next time you're at the gym, try lifting.
Here's an article from BB.com, from 2004, that's 9 years ago, about weight training for women. http://bbcom.me/f8jp5c
It's the difference between a BUTT and an ASS.

What is Tyler Durden?
We all know him. Hell, most men want to be him. But what IS Tyler Durden? What does Tyler personify?
Tyler will mean many different things, to many different people. To me, Tyler Durden stands for progress. Progress. Movement toward a higher level. Tyler Durden is progress.
"Fuck what you know. You need to forget about what you know, that’s your problem. Forget about what you think you know about life, about friendship, and especially about you and me."
No other quote stands out as much as this. He couldn't be more accurate. Everything we think we know, is just a by-product of our experiences and realities. Doesn't make me better or worse than you, it just makes me, me. Too many people have convinced themselves that they are better than others because they make more money or whatever. In reality, this way is thinking is deterioration. It's a cancer. It's the exact opposite of progress.
We have so much to learn from each other and yet we are constantly looking to one up. I have to do what you did better. It's a shame.
"Do you know what a duvet is?…It’s a blanket. Just a blanket. Now why do guys like you and me know what a duvet is? Is this essential to our survival, in the hunter-gatherer sense of the word? No. What are we then?…We are consumers. We’re the byproducts of a lifestyle obsession."
This is what becomes our reality. It's been going on for so long that it just is. Enough. Time to question things. Stop doing things because you have to. Stop doing and just be.
"I say never be complete, I say stop being perfect, I say let... Let's evolve, let the chips fall where they may."
Yes. Don't sit around watching the latest shows that no one gives a shit about. Go out and enlighten your body and mind. Look at something your so used to seeing and look at it differently. Test yourself. Get the fuck out of your comfort zone.
Do me a favor though, don't go out and be Tyler Durden. Go out and evolve. Be you.

I had a dream where I met Zyzz on the beaches of Mt. Olympus looking back at my life's footprints in the sand. I noticed during the hardest times there was only one set of footprints. I said "Zyzz Brah when I need you the most you left me to walk alone, why?" He took of his sunglasses and looked at me "Nah Mate, those were the times when I was carrying you doing walking lunches."

Macros & Life
So, you're looking to do something with your body. Chances are, you're overweight and looking to shed some pounds. Or maybe you're a hard-gainer and looking to bulk up. Either way, the only way to get to your end game is through food. I DON'T CARE THAT YOU RAN FOR 4 HOURS. If you ain't eatin' right, you ain't gainin' right. It's that simple.
Your body is a wonderland. Actually, it probably isn't because like most Americans, you've been filling it with crap. I get it. Junk food is easy, it's cheap and you've convinced yourself that it tastes good. You've been eating junk for so long that it's the only thing your body is comfortable with, so guess what? Of course it's going to try and tell you healthier alternatives don't taste as good. WE'RE CREATURES OF HABIT THAT HATE GETTING OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONE. Guess what your attempt at a new diet is? NEW. So you know what? You're body & brain will fight you because they aren't used to it. You try it for a month and chances are you end up bagging it. I've been there.
We may be creatures of habit, but we are also cognizant and that is huge. We have the ability to sense and feel, yet perpetually neglect them. We take it for granted. We know we should eat cleaner, but we hit the BK drive-through at 2AM for a double whopper with cheese (obvi), large fries and 5 piece chicken strips.
So what do you do? How do you get over it? I have the answer for you and it's going to f*cking blow your mind: Just get over it. Just get over it. Just get over it. That's it. Nike ain't lying when they say "Just Do It." Do it. It's that simple. Guess what happens when you don't do anything? Nothing. Guess what happens when you do something? Something. Next time you hit that 30 day mark and you start craving Domino's, say "I'll order the two medium two topping pizzas deal tomorrow." On day 31 when you're still craving pizza, say "I'll order the two medium two topping pizzas deal tomorrow." You do this for another week and you're golden. At this point, clean eating and lifting is the new norm for your bod. It won't want that old lifestyle because it's just that, old.
Now your brain is re-wired to be muscle fiend. You're seeing the fat peel away at the gym. You're straight-subtle flexing in the mirror at the gym because you're seeing these new ridges and boulders on your body and you're swagging. Congratulations. Everyone can see you doing that. You know what though? F*ck them. You worked hard to get there.
Progress continues but it's slower. Few more lbs down. Maybe a vein or two start popping, but chances are you've hit another wall. You start bumming and that laziness creeps back in. Figure it out, brah, it's simple. YOU HAVE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS. How do you expect the brain and body to progress if you don't challenge them? When you start bumming and doubting, your brain starts to connect those thoughts with other negative things, i.e. junk food. While you may have convinced yourself in the past that it makes you feel good, you're body knows it's slowly being destroyed.
Fix that. Take a minute to look at what you've accomplished every week. How'd it make you feel? Do it the next week. Keep this pattern up for a 4-6 weeks. You know what you do then? Change it the f*ck up. Get out of your comfort zone again. Challenge the brain and body. This time, when you get bummed, your body & brain are going to want to revert to last months workout because it's not as challenging. And you know what? THAT'S AWESOME BECAUSE BEFORE IT DIDN'T WANT TO TOUCH A WEIGHT.
And that's all you're doing. You're climbing that ladder and every step higher is another step removed from all that junk you were so used to.
Evolve or die, brahs. Evolve or die.

J & Lou T minus a few months when summer rolls around
That Night...
I remember that night. The moon high above us as we scampered through the dimly lit woods, our early summer bonfire now covered with sand and dirt still smoldering. We laughed and howled at the moon as we made our way back to civilization in the early morning hours.
We blindly ran through knee high shrubs, protruding tree roots acting as tripwires as we looked into the distance for the soft glow lights of campus.
She walked slightly in front of me, her flip flops sticking to the wet ground. She kept her grace as much as she could, pants rolled up to her knees and straps sliding askew off her shoulders.
I saw her slip in slow motion as we continued to move forward, her body floating in mid air against the dark backdrop, reaching out, for anything...for me. Her hand grappled my arm as she came down, cushioning her partial spill, I flexed in reaction holding her up as she let her body go loose...except for her hand, still gripping my arm.
The others continued on shouting and laughing, and Im not sure they even noticed. But she looked up and me, down at my arm, back up, and then smiled. I looked at her and smirked. I could see into her eyes as we stood there in the dark.
In her head a million nerves were firing all at once as waves crashed of in the distance...she thought to herself...
"He Lifts...."
That moment has been with me ever since in my journey towards bettering myself. It may sound vain but most of us have a moment like that, when we realize our hard work is paying off. I hold that with me every rep, every set, and every time my alarm goes off at 530am.
Goals, motives, and aspirations have become more complex since then, but I still keep it close. The power of first impressions. The feeling of holding your head up high when you walk in a room. When the girl you love grabs your arm when you walk into a crowded restaurant.
We can talk sets and reps and technique til were blue in the face. Nobody will ever agree because everyone's journey is different and uniquely their own. Im here to talk motivation. Im here to talk mind and body. Im here to help you find out what it really takes to become the man you really want to be.
When the pain of being monotonous and ordinary outweighs the pains of change, only then will you start to find out who you really are.

Guess what I got. Yes. That's why I posted a pic. After 3 days of using this, I must say it's a shame this stuff was discontinued. Leg day is on Sunday and guess who's upping the dosage to two scoops. You know it. Me. See ya there. Hero Juice.

Hi. My name is Louie and I am half of the Pump Brahs. Doesn’t matter which. I was skinny before. Lifted and got bigger. Stopped. Got fat. And now I got rid of the weight. So I’m lean again. My favorite letter is L, obviously. Number? 8. Color? Doesn’t matter, let’s move on. The other Pump Brah? He’ll post shortly. Ask him about him, not me. I know him. Destiny brought us together. And then separated us. Typical.
