a lot of the time when i hear about healing the inner child it's depicted as if the inner child is this pure sensitive soft thing, which is valid to feel and work through, but shoutout to the inner child that's filled with rage. the child you were that doesn't seem anything like how a person expects or wants a child to be, overflowing with anger and frustration at all the injustices that they were powerless against
