Two episodes in on season two. I fucking hate it. I'm trying so hard to like it. It's like they ruined so much of Robby in such a short time. I think it's because season 1 established him as this kind, compassionate, ruined leader. A man whose trying so hard to be his mentor. It's killed him. A man who is so at home in his guilt it's his only friend.

Now? Now he has a girlfriend. Like shitting where he eats hasn't already proven to him to be a bad idea. He seems less compassionate. Less John Carter or Gregory House. He's angry. Which makes sense. It's just not interesting.

What I liked was the fact that he was soft. That he was overwhelmed and trying. Not this condesending asshole. This dude with a god complex and weird need to be the best.

Season 1 opens with this human moment. This, hey man, we are in the trenches type shit. It feels so good to see something so human. Season 2 just isn't doing that. I'm not enjoying it. The AI push is annoying. The pace is sloppier. It's lessgratifyingg to watch. I'm giving up for now. Maybe episode 7 will be so good i have to come back. Until then, i'm out.
