‘enemies to lovers’ sure okay, but nothing wil ever beat THIS dynamic
9 to 5 enemies, 5 to 9 lovers
Oh yes
Finally some quality content in my portfolio
“The Rapture:” An ancient prophecy and an old western lodge.
A drawing showing how Jim Henson Performed Kermit in The Muppet Movie’s swamp scene.
This is the best picture I could find of how they customized the Studebaker so Fozzie could appear to drive the car. They crammed the real driver in the trunk. I think he was driving from a video monitor.
This video actually shows how they do a lot of these effects and its really cool! It shows footage of Jim Henson in the tub under the water!
A slight clarification about the guy-in-the-trunk car, that isn’t covered in the video–it was used for the long shots of Fozzie driving, but every close up scene, not showing the entire car, was very likely shot on a process trailer, which is used in most movies when people are acting inside a car that you can’t see all of.
A process trailer is a really low-slung trailer, so, when the car is being towed on it, it looks, from the camera, like it’s on the road. This allows the people inside the car to concentrate on acting, instead of becoming distracted drivers.
The trailer platform also allows placement of lights, reflectors, diffusers, and all the other things used to light a scene. Oh, and, the camera.
But Henson and Oz were still crammed down in the floorboards. (I’m wondering if the seats were removed, making more space for them, but leaving the seat backs for visuals.)
Ok so Haumea, a dwarf planet beyond Pluto, spins so fast it gets elongated like this. This is just what it looks like. Something deeply unsettles me looking at it. Terrifying.
this is so fucked up
